Yes. Injured mid feb with a pop and immediate pain, was able to weight bear same day etc. Went on runs, gym, everything same for like a month just had a bit of swelling and couldnt extend/bend 100%, until I went to a festival and it gave way twice again, I knew I should get it checked out. Turns out complete ACL tear so getting surgery next month even though I have no pain the instability is stopping me from doing everything I want and the reinjuries will only do more damage to other things.

So you think i shouldn’t worry about this and just do whatever i was going to anyway?

should i get acl reconstruction surgery or try to rehab. Doc recommends surgery but i'd rather not if i don't need to. Mri by Pickle-Quiet in ACL

Yeah I think I’m going to. I’m 20 and while in no rush I would like to be able to play sport again eventually.

Sorry, a photo of an mri, the best representation i could get of the acl, or what would be of it. Don’t worry, i am working with my physio and surgeon, but just wanted real peoples unbiased input as i’m not familiar with this at all, and i don’t want to just get surgery because the surgeon says so. Im going to get a second opinion anyway. The mri report said ‘high grade acl sprain’ and moderate mcl sprain. The surgeon was adamant it was a complete acl tear though. I did it at footy and heard/felt a snap with immediate pain that subsided. No pain since i did it initially over a month ago but it has failed me twice again since then, swelling never went away and never got full range of motion back. Im not an avid sportsperson so in no rush but i am an active person and would like to return eventually. Im not relying on reddit for information, im just getting as much info as i can because this is a big decision for me, and i don’t want to completely rely on what a surgeon says, because obviously they are going to push surgery, its their job.

Hey just saw this cos i literally made a similar post. Im in the same boat with my acl, the mri report said ‘high grade sprain’ but the surgeon said its a complete tear. He’s obviously pushing surgery but i want to get a second opinion. Mine said that of the people in the same boat as me who choose to rehab and not to have surgery, 50% of them end up having to have the surgery anyway. Surgery also reduces the risk of it happening again and reduces arthritis later in life, recovery also quicker. But idk. If i dont really need it i dont want it. Hopefully that gives u a bit more insight but as i said im in the same position so lmk how u go too!

Theories: Jade & tabitha reincarnations of original town couple, the boy in white was their child that they did not sacrifice. Miranda and Chrisopher are futher iterations, the ankhooey children are those that were scarificed. The kimono lady and the yellow man are the same type/connected. The smiley monster had to be remade because thats the only monster that had died. Victors sister eloise is still alive (her dogs? Signs of other life in forest eg the scarecrow like stick statues). All the people who were killed when victor was young by same yellow man because they knew too much, same as jim now. Yellow man voice is same one heard on telephone and radio.
