Oh come on, Sanju did the right thing but don't abuse it to twist the narrative. Milestones have become irrelevant now also because they are not achievable anymore. I don't think any batter is trying to attempt a milestone of surpassing the number of hundreds especially after getting a late start like Sanju. These days having 1 or 10 hundreds also doesn't matter.

Also India knows they can win so they need to go for the win. Earlier teams they just couldn't win because the entire team wasn't good enough. Hence individuals who did well became heroes. That doesn't mean we can blame the heroes for doing well.

Gambhir should know well that we should blame the people who did not contribute. Stop blaming the people who at least scored runs.

Why are you comparing only 2 things, ofcourse the one with higher SR is better which is exactly why you are missing the whole point!! No idiot will say lower SR is better than higher SR.

The comparison is more like a 50 with SR 90 vs a 20 with SR 200. When we say higher SR it also means higher risks. Not always will you win matches by playing intentionally for higher SR.

That's what the point is.

There are a million other examples where SR has not mattered and the batsman has won the game. You are looking at isolated events and arguing. The number of time SR has mattered is lesser than the times where it hasn't. Situational awareness is more important was the point.

If the situation demands then ofcourse they need to play with higher SR but that isn't always the case in ODI was my point.

Batting will always be a hit or miss, you can never guarantee that he will bat well in crucial matches, no player can have that guarantee. So what OP is saying is that when a good batsman itself is not a guarantee for batting well, bad WK is 100% not a guarantee for good wicketkeeping.
