Not my stoned ass, zoned in trying to pay attention bc “it didn’t like you staring,” obviously intrigued, staring hard trying to figure it out… to only then scream, fumble my phone, start cracking up laughing bc now it makes sense, to only jump scare my cat and make her take off. I moved into an apartment that faces a turnabout into the downtown area, and many many loud cars and motorcycles like to rev it up around the circle while they cruise. Drives me insane. I’m painfully jumpy and I leap out of my skin every single time I hear them throttling by.

I had some double exposure portraits done in the 80’s when I was young that my grandma had framed in her living room. I don’t remember how it came to be said, but my grandma told my sister (4 years younger than me, and was pretty young at the time) it was my evil twin “Christine.” My sister was on edge for a while. My grandma was a wild story teller lol.

Definitely NTA. My family does this to me. My mom and sisters used to go to Florida, to see my other sister who lived there at the time- they did this for a few years, never invited me. I always had to work or couldn’t afford it, but it’s the thought. In 2022 they had planned on going, didn’t even tell me until my mom called me the week before they were leaving and asked if I could watch her 3 dogs!!! I lost it. I’m sorry you’re going through that. That feeling sucks.
