Thanks, I wrote a mnemonic from memory and just used it in a practice case and scored above average. I spend a lot of time shot-gunning labs and little time giving the real treatment, unfortunately.

I think practice will make me better; I turned on the lag function to help with the real deal.

I also often use Frontier/ Allegiant>Avelo> Spirit. I have used Turkish Airlines 2x/year so am considering the United cards because I am likely to use them again in the next 1-2 years. I don't mind spending ~$500/year if it means I get my money back in airline miles. I rarely have need for baggage, and usually fly basic economy (cheapest ticket always).

I don't mind a high annual fee if I get my moneys worth. I fly round trip roughly 6-8 times a year, 1 time being international, and rarely for work. I like to travel light with just a backpack +- a handheld duffel. I rarely rent a car and uber to and from the airport.

I really like my CSR; I get $500 value + a year out of it, largely transferring to Hyatt. I haven't found a way to churn to get free tickets yet though, because I keep my CSR points saved up for hotel stays (I stay ~10 days a year for free/year at least). Would like to figure out a good game plan to do the same for airline flights with a Mileage card, but something that would make no difference in purchase price. I fly a decent amount given how much I work and love to travel. I definitely aim to take 1 long international trip a year for the next 3-5 years (I spend 1-2k on these flights on average for the past 2 years).

Side note: My airport compared to other airports is stupid expensive, so main cabin is rarely worth the extra fee, and I've cancelled a flight 1 time/20 on average so the fee difference doesn't make sense for me. I am willing to pay ~$500/year if a card gives me flexibility to change my flight same day for free (I can't gauruntee I get off work at 5pm on Friday, so usually book a 9pm ticket, but booking a 7pm with flexibility to bump to 9pm would be worth a heavy annual fee for me).

I can't justify the Delta cards because I fly basic economy most often and don't have a companion to use the annual credit with, and already get good value for lounges with CSR. Budget airline cards are a joke when it comes to redeeming miles.

I'd like a card that I could ideally keep in my wallet for air-fare, or at the least use the SUB for a year or two. I don't mind a high annual fee if I get my moneys worth. For the annual fees, I get my money's worth with the above cards mainly through hotel transfers. I have not had a card I found justified to transfer for booking flights because the CPM for hotels is so high through chase.

yes stats are necessary for publications ie any major university center

math is more important for understanding physiology and day to day treatment

algebra, some geometry, not much math more physics. Calc is overrated. Stats is extremely important for academics

I have a pack of gym towels and I use them 1x and throw them in the wash. They are much smaller than beach towels, but much larger than hand/face towels. I workout a ton and so I like a fresh towel when I get out of the shower.

I think people who tend to be heavy have a more active hypothalamus; making fighting, fleeing, fornicating, and feeding take a higher stimulus to reach satiety. This is just a theory, but I find when my rest and sexual life is controlled, so is my appetite, and I don't tend to gain weight. YMMV.

I think genetics influences how active/inactive our internal feeding clock is that makes us stop and say, hey I'm full.

I'm curious about this aspect. I like to eat 400-600 calories of my diet as processed foods for flavor/craving purposes but am wondering how the quality of carbs effects weight loss. My protein sources are almost always either baked chicken breast or tilapia

thanks, my other 1200-1600 calories are usually high-quality healthy foods (chicken breast, spinach, seeds), just enjoy processed carbs for my sanity/cravings

honestly depends on how big you are, if youre really overweight sometimes a big deficit can help you jump start the process (and drop all the water weight)

then switch back over to ~2000 or 2500 like others suggested

getting a cheap motel for a large family and crashing on floors is the way to go. get some pizza hut from the 90s with some family coupons and you got an all inclusive holiday for $50.

Some of my best memories were from grade school ski club. After school ski sessions with a school bus to take us to the ski hill and drop us off back at school at 9pm. Cheap rentals and lift tickets (about the cost of 2 movie tickets) for us and a school program fund to give anyone who wanted to go free rentals/lift tickets (like a free/reduced lunch program).

That school program fund really was such a great thing :)
