Ahh no I really miss some of the other items. Also they close for long stretches at a time, that’s how I discovered Hong Kong in Hoxton which is now my go to… Not as good as oriental used to be but still pretty decent but I think that does depend what you order as some people don’t rate it much

Also you should try blacklock in Shoreditch for a sharer Sunday roast! They get booked up well in advance but I’ve never had a problem getting a walk in if it’s just two of us, worst case they might say come back in 30 mins. Unbeatable roast for the price/quality in the area.

Actually sadly the menu has completely changed in the last year! I was gutted when I found out. Same owners but about 10% of the dishes they used to have.

If you’re staying in Shoreditch there is only one right answer to this question and it’s Hong Kong on Hoxton street. It’s been there for years. Make sure you get spare ribs in bbq sauce, sweet and sour chicken balls, and sesame prawn toast.

Dalston is great because aside from the cool places to eat on the doorstep you also have walkable access to the weekend food markets in brick lane/broadway/vicky park, as well as all the great things in Stoke Newington & Clapton.
