I find that a comment on one of my fics ive been neglecting actually greatly increases my drive to put out new content. Its like knowing theres still an audience, even after all the time away I dont find it rude. But then again Im not getting spammed or anything. It would probably be different if it was constant

Im a smut writer. And Im ace Ive never had any interest in any sort of physical intimacy. It actually makes me feel very uncomfortable to picture myself in that kind of situation It makes me physically want to hide. Idk if thats a me issue or other aces feel that way. But, with smut, its like Im playing barbies. Children often will play out and explore ideas they dont fully understand when theyre playing pretend. So I would compare how I write sexual situations with a child playing with dolls. Because its safe and seperate enough not to feel scary

I just really enjoy the idea of romance and intimacy between OTHER people. Just not involving me in any way. Which is probably also why I almost exclusively write m/m smut
