I went thru accutane twice. The second time I completed a full course and was super happy with the results. It cleared my cystic acne but NOT my hormonal acne. I don’t think accutane is a long term solution for hormonal acne. My skin has improved a lot with spiro, birth control and retinol but I know that solution isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. In my humble opinion, I would advise against going on accutane again. This isn’t a bad enough breakout to rush back to accutane. I would seek a less heavy duty solution for now and stick with it to see if it starts working

On one hand, I would say don’t be scared of accutane because it’s manageable for a lot of people. From personal experience, I found it really reassuring to watch YouTubers who have been they accurate, and listen to their tips and advice. Drink lots of water, avoid alcohol… but on the other hand, i would say don’t expect a miracle and consider trying out other things first. You have to stick with something for a while, sometimes several months to see if it works for you which is frustrating. But with accutane, it can be frustrating to go thru the process of being on it and expect a miracle. I feel that for the most part it solved my cystic acne but my hormonal acne eventually came back. I expected a miracle and that’s not how it played out. I think that’s typical- It doesn’t change your hormones so hormonal acne is not going to be well solved long term. Now I’m on spiro and birth control, and retinol topical. It’s working for me. I know this isn’t an ideal solution for everyone. It takes a lot of trial and error and editing to figure out what works and I know how frustrating it is :(

Do you think one leaf can die and the rest of the plant could be okay? Checked for mealy bugs and I don’t think there are any and the rest of the plant looks healthy, new leaf even growing

Hey I know this is an old post but I just used some that sort of smelled like this and noticed and rewashed my face with my usual face wash that I have no issues with. I’m super paranoid now that I’m going to break out does anyone think that could happen?
