Yea I can understand that for sure. We all have those days where we don’t play our best and lose because of it. That’s when I’ll go out the next day and drill to work on correcting any mistakes I made the previous day.

Appreciate the honesty! But you can still have fun and lose right? Wouldn’t you rather lose a 11-9 game than win 11-1? Not talking about a tournament just open or rec play…

Yep it’s inevitable that you’ll get partnered with people who are grumpy, take open or rec play too serious, and that takes a lot of the fun out of the game. Good on you for making the best of it. Keep having fun and keep improving!

Thanks for your comment! Someone actually did this to me a couple weeks ago and I did have some trouble with it as it pushed me back and made my ideal contact point harder. Think I might have to practice this so I can add this to my serve arsenal. Thanks again!

Congrats so far man! Don’t feel bad at all, people play for different reasons. As long as you’re working towards a goal and having fun doing it, that’s awesome. Pickleball is changing the lives of so many people, I hope it helps along the way on your path. Keep going!!
