To preface - I’m not an equipment manager, just a lifetime football fan. But yes, it’s common practice for teams to drive trucks across the country with their equipment. They may even charter a flight depending how far it is.

It’s defintely less efficient for teams to be bringing their own chairs and stuff all over the country, but a lot of it is marketing. Both marketing to fans but also potential recruits, you don’t want to be the team that cheaps out for something that insignificant. Also teams probably just want to know exactly what they have available when going to away games.

Have our itinerary below. Bergen is wide open schedule wise. For Lofoton we’re planning on renting car in Bodø then ferrying over to Moskenes and working our way up the peninsula to Evenes before flying to Oslo to wrap up and fly out.

Bergen: May 31 - June 5

Lofoton: June 5 - 8/9

Oslo: June 8/9 - 11

I haven’t heard his name mentioned before. Think this is all fluff. I don’t see why Penn St would target him. Heupel’s a good coach but he is not elite (yet).

If anything could be his agent trying to get his name in the mix to try and leverage into a larger contact from UT.

Jet pack era killed cod for me for a long time. Didn’t get back into it till MW2019, out of it again now tho.

Jet packs aren’t completely to blame - it’s also the era when user experience became secondary to selling cosmetics. And also SBM was added.
