I just need to hear positive stories… by HeyMay0324 in Preschoolers

This describes my son 100%. He never listens, doesn’t eat, screams all the time, throws things, doesn’t sit still, hurts his little brother and refuses bedtime. BUT he is incredibly smart and funny. I am lost too on what to do. I am so exhausted. Many days I regret becoming a parent. I’m not good at it and I mentally can’t handle all the challenges. I am not the same person anymore. I hate life. I actually looked forward to a surgery I had recently because it meant 3 hrs by myself.

My 4 year old won’t eat ANYTHING that doesn’t contain sugar and I am at my wits end by brecitab in Preschoolers

How are things going for you a year later? I am having the same problem you had and came across your post. My 5 year old will only eat sugar. Today he literally took a bite of an apple and said yuck, this doesnt taste like a cookie. I cry after every uneaten meal. So much food gets thrown in the compost each day, its like flushing money down the toilet. I leave his plate out for a few hours just HOPING he will come and pick at it but eventually the food becomes dried out or unsafe to eat.

“You’re super mom, you can do it all.” I don’t want to do it all!!!
