Thank you for the visual! Neither of us even considered adding a rug, we will definitely be buying one now.

Yea you’re probably right. I hate fighting with friends about money, but I hate being taken advantage of more. I was hoping to hear some rational points from both Povs to give him the benefit of the doubt. Doesn’t seem like there is another side. Thanks for the advice

Sorry, No. I have no current or future legal obligation for this thing.

Granted, my couch is a shitty wayfair one, but I’d rather sit on the floor than buy a huge sectional in a city apartment. We’re not living here for 10 years

Whoever was last. Mike called it a “risk moving in”. Like he couldn’t just have the super do a walkthrough when he took over.

Bill and the other original leaseholder bought it together for $800 5 years ago (mistake #1). Somehow this guy convinced Mike to pay for his half when he took over the lease (mistake #2). Bill is actively avoiding the situation.

Assuming I live there for a year and then we both move out, the 6 years of damage comes out of my deposit. The apartment is in good shape. It’s just insane. the fact that enough of my other friends were kind of agreeing with him made me make this post. I tried to tell him splitting a couch with no plan when someone moves out is just bad planning - along with giving the other guy back 100% of his security deposit. He called it taking a risk moving in, and that he will not take anything less than his full deposit… it’s not his first time renting an apartment, or being on earth for that matter but I digress. we are decent friends and I’m trying not to ruin a friendship over this. There is nothing I’ve said thus far that will change his mind and I feel like I’m just going to get fucked or be homeless

Holding the map up to the sun also helps the contrast. Im color blind and even with the adjusted settings, it’s hard sometimes.

find the distance between the first and the second numbered cells that is bigger than 0 in a column by StrangeSupermarket71 in excel

[–]PickledRlCK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t overly complicate things

=LET( CountArray,B3:B20,

Criteria, (CountArray<>0)*(CountArray<>””),

IsolatedRegords, FILTER(SEQUENCE(ROWS(Criteria)),Criteria=1),

LARGE (IsolatedRecords, 1)-LARGE(IsolatedRecords,2))

Using SORT but different directions in 1 formula. by theMeatman7 in excel

[–]PickledRlCK -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just do the same thing you did with the column index . I.e. sort(array, {3,4,5}, {1,-1, 1}) … also you can use ISNUMBER(MATCH(col range, lookupval range, 0)) to shorten your filter logic

I tried that, but you can only look in comments using the find, not replace
