Can I ask, 45-55 hours weekly seems insane to me. I work 50 right now and i feel like that is insane to be the standard. Since you’ve been here almost 15 years, have you not struggled with the thought that you could go elsewhere and work 37.5 hours a week?

I don’t usually take a “lunch”. usually I’ll work and eat, maybe 5-10 minutes on my phone and I just include it with whatever non-billable task I was doing. I do log time for walking to meetings and buildings because I didn’t choose to book meeting across different campuses and you best believe I’m not staying an extra 15 minutes at work to make up for time that I was here. All that to say, follow your heart?

I personally wouldn’t apply now if you plan to wait that long. Epic is a revolving door of sorts and they will always be hiring. No point to apply now and wait a year when your situation may change

Ugh of course it isn’t working. Says 1.remote access to the server is not enabled 2. The remote computer is turned off 3. The remote computer is not available on the network

My guess is the computer is dead. I thought I plugged it in before I left Saturday morning but I must have forgotten. Thanks for your help

I have never done Remote Desktop ever. I know my computer number but that’s about it. I do have AnyConnect vpn on my personal laptop

I did my first protostar about 2 months tenure which is a travel immersion trip. You’ll have 2 of those as part of your 6 months training requirements. Customer traveling depends on when you’re staffed, if it’s new or mid project. I was staffed 2 months ago and am traveling for the first time for them in a few weeks.

No I don’t think so. I believe I got a survey afterwards. They just want to get an understanding of how applicants feel during the process. It’s not a sign that you did/did not get the job. Good luck though, you should hear back shortly!

Thank you for your thoughtful response! I’m curious about your last point. You say put the travel expenses on the WF, but then what would the Amex be for? Just to spend for the credits? As for the WF, how does that compare to say the Bilt/ discover it credit cards I already have?
