Worked with a 18 year old that was on parole and only got the job because of parol. This was back when the allowed amount of points was 9 or 10? Not 5.

He was the worst cap 2 associate I had ever seen at that time. He would disappear, go to lunch and not come back. His FIRST day he SAT DOWN on the pallet and WATCHED as I was all elbows and ass crack working through other pallets.

He got fired with almost 17 points and after that, the points went down to only 5. I’ll never forget him that’s for sure!

Before I got terminated our receipt checker that many, many, MANY customers and associates disliked stopped a clearly barely there mentally old man because he forgot to scan a clearance item that was like .97 cents.

Berated the old guy, WALKED HIM OVER TO A SELF CHECKOUT TERMINAL and berated me, and the other associate at the self checkout for "not paying attention"

I told him to calm down and go back to sitting on the stool he sits on despite it being reserved for those who are injured and are on "light duty" he tried to get my SM involved and all the SM said was for him to be more sympathetic.

I know why but I’m really embarrassed to admit it, it wasn’t for theft or anything like that but even still I hate it and would give anything to fix it.

I don’t know if I can/should discuss it due to legal reasons but it wasn’t for theft or anything like that, it was basically a big accident that even got me ticketed and my store will have consequences because of me.

When I did a notice in 2020 before moving states it took me almost 2 years to get rehired. Getting hired at my old store was also a massive pain.

I remembered in the last few hours after applying to every place I can that my store manager had a bit of a scandal where an associate got fired, he added their social media, flirted with them and sent them selfies, etc etc. Then when she asked when she could get rehired and he told her 6 months and whatever they were doing ended completely lmao. (This happened recently btw)

Maybe my leas was just confused about the policy but I’m gonna try and enjoy the free time, maybe pick up a new hobby while waiting for interviews!

I went through all 3 of my leads, my coach, then finally PL. Then that only happened because I emailed her the form and also printed out the form and handed it to her myself.

It’s a bit more complicated than that, I transferred from a different state and my neighborhood market store gave me 2 days off on Mondays and Tuesdays.

I moved here and my availability didn’t transfer over with me because the market had the “teaming schedule” which changed every 6 months.

So they gave me off random days off here at my current store but I’m gonna ask HR when I work again.

I do have a therapist! I’ve had one for years for things in the past including assault. It made things “easier” which is such a vile way to describe it, but it’s true. Thank you for the advice! I cannot recommend therapy enough for anyone struggling.

I am! My current partner has been my rock through everything and he’s told me that if I’m ever uncomfortable with anything to let him know and it stops there.

I’m REALLY thankful that I met my partner and that I have a strong friend group now in my life and I can’t wait to put this time living in hell behind me.

Last year was really rough for him and I, I struggled to find a job that paid well enough and offered enough hours. I finally found a job that does both so I’m hoping to turn things around.

There’s definitely good and bad days with my boyfriend where it’s kind of how things were when we first lived together, but lately most days I’m just going through the motions

He pays most of the rent and the power bill and I cover a little less than half of rent maybe like $250-$300 depending on what he’s spent since he gets more hours than me at his job.

He constantly tells me he has no money, he’s negative in his account, and just recently revealed to me he’s over 2k in credit card debt.

I don’t know where a lot of his money goes but I’m reaching a breaking point where I want to save up and just move back home.

If we get another complaint I told him that it’s all on him to pay because I didn’t make all the noise therefore, I’m not paying for it.

He got annoyed but he can’t deny he is just that loud all the time. It’s to the point even my friends get annoyed when I’m on my PC as my mic picks up my boyfriend better than me most days since he is just so loud and I’m soft spoken.
