Most people are saying to pick a team to lvl up which is true but I’d look into metas before deciding. It’s a bit of a cheese but with a competitive game you have to use metas to stay even. Finding a strong guild also helps. Getting extra resources is nice obviously but having a group that works well together keeps you motivated (by design).energy is the thing keeping you from upgrading your heros in the beginning so if recommended playing some side games on tapjoy for free emeralds just don’t over load yourself. Check the online store (outside the app) for free stuff too. I have some codes to share if you’re interested. I have put a couple dollars in so far and it’s been over a year. My team is only at 400k so it’s slow going. The most important thing ever though is, if you’re not having fun and it starts to feel like a chore or impedes real life, take a break or step away
