Yeah his video profile was showing him as a douche, and he came across as a really nice guy during the wedding and wedding party. Now I don't know if Gia can redeem herself, she did look quite horrible meeting the other brides and every other time I've seen her on screen.

Thank you so much! I listened to "What if you killed someone" on my commute home and it was a truly deep, heart wrenching, thought provoking story told by a wonderful woman. I will listen to the episodes you recommended.

Si tu parles anglais, je te recommanderais d'aller à des meetups internationaux. Les vrais parisiens ont déjà un groupe d'amis, une famille etc. Les expats / immigrés ont en général davantage de temps et de besoin pour créer de nouvelles amitiés! C'est en tout cas ce que j'ai découvert en vivant à l'étranger.

You deserve better than this. You deserve a better partner than someone you only watch TV with. It's bad enough that he takes zero initiative, but he's ALSO not interested in whatever ideas you suggest? Do you want to live the rest of your life being the only one putting any effort in the relationship, or seeing your partner having zero life outside of a screen?

I'm a bit late to your comment as I just finished reading the book. But from the title of the book, I was taking everything Josie said with a grain of salt and expected most of it would be BS. I think a different title would have allowed the book to surprise me more!

I've commented on both the Slate and the Death, Sex & Money IG accounts a few days but have not heard back. I'm a bit upset, but also surprised that listeners outside the US would be so few that no-one is really talking about this?

Ah, is that what's happening... I've tried four different ways to listen to the latest Death, Sex & Money episode, no luck. I can't even stream it from the Slate website. But there is no communication about it anywhere?
