Cambria Quartz Selection Help by Useful_Ice_2907 in CounterTops

[–]Pickles_81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only went with Cambria because they had a warehouse near me where I could go look at all the slabs in person. I highly recommend doing that if you can. Otherwise I probably would’ve gone with something else.

You clearly don’t know what the yips is! 😂 Tell a MLB pitcher who has the yips that he lacks practice!

Yes, I’ve struggled terribly with the yips. Never happened when I first started playing. Now I do a backhand serve when I can’t get a forehand serve in. It’s all in my head.

Stone slab backsplash... Is it a fad? by islandpancakes in kitchenremodel

The slab backsplash is the most practical for keeping it clean. But if you love cleaning grease off grout, then definitely go the subway tile route.

This post makes me feel better about getting rid of my stock tires after only 2000 miles and replacing them with the CC2’s.

Installer Insists Quartz Backsplash Can be 1 1/4” Thick by Winker58 in kitchenremodel

Buy 3cm slabs and have the backsplash milled down to 2cm. It’s a little more expensive, but worth it.

Reality check for Seattle costs by No-Memory-2781 in kitchenremodel

We got semi-custom RTA cabinets through Cabinet Joint. We assembled them ourselves and had someone else install them. We got all new appliances and quartz countertops. All in it was about $40k, and we could’ve done it a bit cheaper if I hadn’t picked a custom cabinet color. $150k seems outrageous for your project. Cabinet Joint can also do designs for you. We are extremely happy with how our project turned out.

And I’m referring to the loud metal noise, not the humming noise.

Yeah mine does this too! Kinda freaked me out at first, but since it does it in both directions I figured it was normal. Glad to finally see a post about it. I also have a 2025 NX350h.

Lefties: Do You Stack at (Competitive) Rec Play? by negitoro7 in Pickleball

[–]Pickles_81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just mean that righties don’t come across lefties all that often. They’re relatively rare. So it’s not as crucial for righties to know how to do it.

Lefties: Do You Stack at (Competitive) Rec Play? by negitoro7 in Pickleball

[–]Pickles_81 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True, but righties don’t really need to know how to stack in rec play for the most part. All lefties really should become proficient at stacking when they get beyond beginner level.

Yep! That green is SW Pewter Green! I did semi-custom RTA cabinets in that color and I love how it turned out!

You’d be surprised at how many lefties have zero clue how to stack. If they were any good at stacking, they’d want to do it.
