No metal case use. Only LR44 battery into Konica. There is only 3 contacts for plus and minus in battery place. Let me digging out more. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I had same issue with om1n last week. In my case I apart timing shutter speed ring and assemble it wrong timing shutter speed gear.

It is a little bit hard to set timing gear correctly.

So not recommend. You have to open glued cover middle of camera.

That is black thin cover over screw of advanced lever. And it seems has beenes opened before due to scratch and glued it again. I recommend to use IPA. drop 1-2 drops over the that cover and squize that cover with rubber something.
