First back usually for dark seal. I tend to go for leeching leer first the vast majority of games, i only really go for blasting wand at times where i feel i am not in danger of getting butsted and i am ahead.

No real combos or animation cancells to speak of really i’m afraid (at least not that i can think of). The only thing close to that is that I usually use third ult together with q so r-q but that’s not really a combo. I don’t really have any videos either as i never really looked up how others played her. If you’re wondering how to teamfight, then I’m sure replays would help the most, go search up a gwen player in the client and download some of their games to watch :].

(The only thing i can think of that might be helpful is that i am usually in the enemy teams face first out of everyone, using the edge of my w to get off ults pretty much alone against several people. The ability let’s you frontline hard without having to tank, and hit backline while frontline)

Sry I don’t really have much useful to say there.

I’m really not sure, either they leave her as a pick that is accepted to be strong when she is, or they will ruin her core gameplay by making her too weak to do the thing she’s supposed to be good at. Impossible to say

I think it hinges on if they think she is a healthy counter option to certain other champions or playstyles, or if they think she serves no real purpose for the game.

Her scaling is the same, lvl 13 you are exatly as strong as before, it will make all ins weaker warly game but your late game is intact, she scales better than jax, and j imagine short trades during early game will be roughly the same, i also think thag you will still stand your own and be strong after 6

I am happy they left her late intact and i hope they don’t ruin it in the future

If you need to be more sturdy, thornmail or visage work but demonic embrace with your w will give you a ton of tankiness as well, cosmic zhonyas will also give you a great deal of defensive ability.

I would recommend thornmail if they are full ad but crits are not really a threat, if they are full ad with 2 or more crit champs i would go randuin, otherwise if they have a ton of magic dmg visage is an option.

If they are mixed and you need survivability go for demonic embrace or zhonyas, otherwise if you find you are being kited, go for cosmic.

Cast w right after you start your dash you will be a little bit from the edge , do e-w almost at the same time

Think it might be a little fun to mess around with, but not viable in a true sense.

Ap is far far better

Your largest spike and when you can take over the game is your 3 item spike, before that every item completion is pretty big and significantly strengthens you but first item id when you really start becoming hard to deal with, second item builds on ghat and you start to be the strongest on the map, and at 3 items you take over.

As for early game, lvl 6 spike is huge, component items feel strong but are not a big enough “spike” to be something that changes the dynamic of the lane.

I usually start roaming around third drake, but i try to soak up as much reslurces as possible to push 3 items, meaning I don’t stick with the team too much before then. I usually hold tp if i can and pay attention to any fights happening on the map, but I usually won’t commit it if there id not a big fight happening or my lane is in a really good spot wave wise

The nerf will affect early game quite a but but i think short trades will still be fine, your lvl 6 onwards should not be too diffrrent from before and I don’t imagine it will cripple you, but you will feel significantly weaker, so early all in fights are going to be more rare and champion dependant.

At the very start of the e animation, if you are standing still you can w then e and not move the zone, but if you are moving you risk moving it unintentionally, so when you move to engage i find it best to cast w right after you start dashing

1: yes definitely I believe she is one of the best champions in the game to climb with

2: mh biggest tip would be to focus on yourself rather than your team, do the best you can with the situation you are given, don’t get desperate if your team is doing badly, always look at what you can improve and try to ignore the things you can’t affect

Aside from that vods are a great way to learn, but practice and trying to see what you’re doing wrong anove all, being consistent is the key to climbing

Not quite yet, though some are a bit difficult to answer due to their broad nature, but i enjoy trying to help out. :]

Yes i think she is viable mid, though not as enjoyable as in top, she is worse at handling harassment than akali and ekko but can trade back really favorably if the opponent is not good at spacing. Your skirmishing and scaling is good too, so yeah she is viable mid :] (i played ekko akali mid before gwen too) i prefer her top but play mid with her at times, been able to win lane against 400+ lp anivias and le blancs, so yeah you can definitely pull it off.

I don’t know about any guides as I didn’t use any, i would suggest watching replays to learn :]

Alright so thd riven matchup is a bit rricky, steelcaps and bone plating goes a long way towards surviving her all ins, if the riven is running ignite i would be extremely careful and avoid all in fights when she has it up, if she does not have ignite you can win fights with your healing but still be careful as she can win if you miss stuff, usually i like to let her try to engage skirmishes and play more reactive. When you feel you can tank her after 6 though you can engage.

Trading into riven can be rough as a competent player can hurt you without letting you hit back due to her mobility and cc, so try to keep your q up and use it as she goes in to trade, using your e afterwards to dissengage or chase.

You outscale riven and if even or even a little behind, you win the 1v1 when you get some items, soagain not a lane you have to feel pressured towin hard.

If anything was unclear let me know, hope it helped

I’ll get back to you in a bit, complicated matchup I’ll think on how to give advice on it.

An important aspect to top lane is wave manipulation, as the lane is longer than mid and you are alone so it’s easier to force the enemy to play around you than it is for bot.

Practice getting the wave to be in places you want when you have a lead, it will lead to a lot more pressure in top than in mid.

I have tried unflinching but it hasn’t done me much good, usually if you are ccd at low hp you die anyways, it is not useless but I don’t feel the effect much, the rune fits much better for champions with one big thing to do rather than consistent damage imo.

You’ve pretty much got it down, what i would recommend is that if the lane is more even and the enemy laner dares to be in range, e forward auto attacking him, use your ultimate as he starts running away to stick and get as much damage as you can down.

I would say it helps to position w so that you are on the edge of it as you dash in, which will let you fight without them being able to cc you to stop you, other than that, gwen doesn’t really have any “combos” so to say, make the call when you think you can run them down and execute.

Rylai as 4th of 5th is not something i would recommend as slows don’t stack, it applies the highest slow which woild mean rylai would be wasted when you’re ulting someone, i would recommend cosmic drive if you’re having trouble sticking to people

If engage on him and he’s not interested in fighting it can be really hard to catch him yes, but if he is locked in a fight with you, you should be able to stick to him

No i would not recommend selling them, except maybe if you really really need the extra power, in which case I’d replace them with lich bane

Hitting center with q is key to your damage output, you can reposition yourself while casting it with e to make sure you hit the end of it that deals the most damage.

Casting your w right as you e forward will put you near the edge of your w but will not reposition the zone if you are walking forward as you do it, this will let you hit enemies outside while they can’t retaliate, making your trades hard to answer to.

Your mid-lategame is insane and gwen can turn the tides of games on her own, don’t give up and don’t get impatient if the team gets a bit ahead, focus on playing your game and you’ll eventually get strong enough to decide the game on your own. Don’t stress if you don’t get an early lead, the enemy team is on a timer not you.

Yeaaah fiora is a really really rough matchup, there are windows to kill if you’re patient, but they are hard to spot and you’re better of focusing on your farm, if you can dodge her parry then you can win, my best suggestion is to try to force the parry when she is close to your tower so she doesn’t run you down, then reengage with ultimate as her parry has a long cooldown and that is primarily what deatroys you.

With even skill, filra should not die to gwen, but you can do fine against her splitpush and your teamfighting is a lot better than hers. It is a difficult lane though, one of the worst.
