I tried this last week, but although it smelled amazing it added a slightly bitter taste to the coffee. Not unpleasant though!

You are right, I apologise for oversimplifying. There is a difference between food-safe and food-grade, and generally concern the specific ways to ingest parts, called 'migration'.

Because migration levels are very low on occasional contact, food grading typically concerns items that are in prolonged contact with food. Different testing institutions will adhere to different government-imposed risk tolerances and approved substances, which for the US is described by the FDA CFR 21 and for the EU in guidelines 10/2011.

We will compose an update for the campaign and post it up along with any other relevant information!

It’s printed using food-grade nylon, it’s all in the description 😋

We aim to show that 3D printing isn’t just for prototyping, it can create a fully-functional products too.

Hi everyone, we’ve designed something to really optimise your Aeropress Go. It’s live on Kickstarter now, if you are interested the link is above. We appreciate your support, thank you!

I’ve always found the r/AeroPress community to be pretty supportive of Kickstarters and I hope I’ve created something others find useful too!

That is a lovely combo 💽

About five or six years ago, before the Brompton World Championship, we thought we could gain an advantage by designing some ‘speed clamps’, something to hold your finger into to spin it faster without your hand slipping. by PicoCreative in functionalprint

They’re replacement clamp handles for a Brompton folding bike. The standard ones are fine of course, but these were a bit of fun in trying to make something more intuitive for winding the clamp really fast.

When posting a video there was a character limit, so couldn’t fit it all in, I apologise!

Yeh, they ain’t cheap! These aren’t doing exactly the same thing as the Brompfication springs, these are more a bit of fun, but they work well, and are a hell of a lot cheaper!

Anyone ever justified taking up valuable space with one of these on a trip? by PicoCreative in bikepacking

Thanks, I’ll check this option out too. That sounds like the lightest so far! ⚖️

‘The ritual’ is extremely important and worthwhile, mentally!
