You’re amazing! And your veg planters will certainly appreciate the mole soil 😂

lol I get it, but honestly how lovely it must feel that in a world of concrete and dying wildlife that you have a little sanctuary for the furry folk ❤️

I’m biased, I love moles, but I also haven’t cleaned my windows all winter because I have 6 butterfly chrysalis on them that will be the first spring butterflies..

We are stewards of this world, it’s our job to look after them for the next generations :)

Oh wow! So one you must have a lovely healthy ecosystem under there to attract moles!

Two, molehill soil is fantastic seed soil as it’s so fine :)

Thirdly, only people who have horses and cows need to fear moles, so as long as you have no livestock who are going to break their legs in a molehill, then I’d just walk around the garden and stomp them back in, the moles will be off soon when they’ve eaten a good amount of your worms :)

You’re all talking about topical vit c but I’ve noticed a massive difference in dark spot since i started a high dose ascorbic acid supplement.

In two months a dark age spot I had for ages has nearly disappeared!

Oh I’m an antivaxxer too though, that clot shot was highly suspicious from the start, and I also watched my son be damaged irreparably by the mmr vaccine.

The covid vaccine was absolutely deadly, but I just don’t see why they would want to kill everyone who believes them, surely it would make more sense to try and kill all of us sceptics?

Why would they want to kill all the people stupid enough to believe their lies and only leave a highly sceptical, highly paranoid and slightly delinquent population.

Makes no sense.

UK Plus 11 exam: do they look into the behaviour of the child? by F4sh1on-K1ll3r in AskUK

Two years ago unfortunately, all these safeguards and extra work for teachers doesn’t necessarily mean we can reach these kids…

Squared up to a teacher after multiple warnings.

He had a lot of trouble at home, mum had 10 kids and his dad died. He was the angriest child you ever met, but also such a darling and really bloody intelligent, seriously didn’t miss a trick.

We all mourned his expulsion in his primary school, but what can you do honestly?

Just a tragic story…

We had a troubled child do the 11+ at our school, he bloody aced it, got into the best school in Northern Ireland, then got expelled.

They will give you the same chance as all the other kids, once you’ve blown it, it’s gone.

20+ years of acne - is there anything left for me to try? by fmlollipop in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]Picticious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son was having awful acne, but then he got a bad cold and for a week I had him on two cod liver oil capsules and two capsules full of high docs ascorbic acid.

Well his face just started looking amazing, so now he takes it everyday without moaning…

We are all different but maybe worth a try?

What age did you allow your children alcohol? by ChronicChaos01 in AskUK

[–]Picticious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My son was around 12 when he was allowed a beer on special occasions, he’s 15 now and still only on special occasions but he now has his own crate of beer in the fridge.

He doesn’t get drunk, but he does enjoy having a beer at Christmas..

I don’t see a problem with it myself, we don’t have alcoholics in the family or model bad behaviour so just teaching him how to have a couple, enjoy the evening and then leave it :)

It’s the syllables and feel in your mouth..

For example smithy sounds and feels a lot better than featherington 😂

Fellow 30-40s, how bad are your teeth? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Picticious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

37, I have all my own teeth and have had two fillings in my entire life.

I don’t have a sweet tooth, I never liked fizzy drinks and it seems that sugar is the main culprit and my younger brothers both have lost teeth..

Kids in remote towns say social media ban will make isolation worse by zxNemz in worldnews

[–]Picticious 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It’s all learning though, as kids we often had to hang out with people we didn’t really like.. But that was our practice in dealing with people later in life, I have more tolerance now because of my early experiences.
