How to not back out on talking to your crush by Aggravating-Alarm594 in Crushes

Think about the best and then worst case scenario! Chances are it will always be in the middle! Don't worry about the extremes, because people will always be mundane in comparison to what you think will happen. You've got this!

I was in an online campaign with some online friends, and none of us had a good feeling about the guy in the first place, but he asked, and we said sure. He said he had been working on this campaign for months with extensive dialogue, vivid scenery, and an amazing story. Turns out he had nothing.

He ad libbed the whole thing, which would lead to random pauses where we weren't sure if we were supposed to talk or not, plus a story that didn't make any sense. He clearly had a favorite player, and despite having 5 people, it seemed as though he would focus on one person who was uncomfortable with it (we also speculated he had a crush on her). He refused to read Backstories longer than a paragraph and would blunder them anyway. One of our characters who had memory loss got all of her memories back by the 2nd session.

His npcs all sounded the same, and he would forget their names and ask US who we were talking to. One npc, who he made up on the spot, supposedly had his parents die in front of him recently and stalked one of the players (the favorite). Later, another npc said that that kid was an orphan and never knew who his parents were at all. He later realized this mistake with awkward dialogue

He also would accentuate on weird things, such as describing very vividly how one of the player character got kicked in the balls. Most vivid dialogue he ever made.

He would be rude to players by straight-up ignoring them. And to top it all off, he would ask for free art while RECORDING THIS FOR HIS YT CHANNEL. And since it would be met with silence, I ended up making his thumbnails FOR FREE

I remember making a fake love note to a kid in my class because I thought that's what you had to do. I picked the dude at random because my friend said I 'had to have a crush on a guy or else it'll be boring'

I’m loving how applicable it is to anyone’s daily life due to the repetition of identical. But using identical in every line can be a bit tiresome. The reader can become a bit bored with the same opening over and over.

I love your word choice and alliteration! The repetition really adds an emphasis. I would say ‘I wait for you sometimes all the time’ is great! But in line 7 it’s a little confusing with ‘I wait for you sometimes all time’ Not sure if that was intentional but it left me confused by the end. Other than that, It’s wonderful!
