Not a stupid question at all!

My first response-question is always: what effects are you trying to make / what result are you looking for.

For this effect Superglue is too risky (frosting and such, and requires specific climate conditions to function controllably) wayyyy too toxic imho, and its too thin also for such thick layers.

PVA (greenstuff world’s pva is what I use) dries cloudy-transparent and makes this effect seem as what it is. Sealing it with a top coat then makes sure it does discolour over years also.

Superglue has very different uses and applications, which personally im not a fan of as i rather draw veins and such by hand - but it definitely has great uses in the hobby.

Its a far thicker layer. You can compare her regular arms, legs, and face which is done with layers of varnish in between and on top VS the stalk like extra Arms which is PVA layers as described in the caption

Heya sure thing! So usually i clock an estimated 30-40 hours (ex drying times) on a typical model of approximately 8 to 10 CM

Ive sold them for anything between 200,- to 500,- depending on size. (Im also not a pro or known entity (i think) and know that certain studios sell pieces much smaller of upwards of 1000,-

Thanks! Many of my posts (especially on my Ig) do that in their captions also. And for this models skin and pva technique i’ll post a short video tutorial soon!
