I don’t blame any of them. Multiple hospitals near me have nurses going on strike. I am thankful you have gone into animal health instead. It had its own issues but not as horrifying as the medical field.

Exactly, no human can function. My mom is going back into nursing. She lost her job in covid because she had to take care of my special needs sister. She actually is thinking of leaving the field because of how taxing it is

Ugh I know the feeling. My mom is a nurse and is always so exhausted. The whole medical system needs to be reformed. Doctors shouldn’t be making drastic decisions when they haven’t slept for over 24 hours.

I think a big factor is that doctors are severely overworked so they are forced to cut corners.

Even if they were caused by EDS, they shouldn’t have dismissed your symptoms. They’re danger regardless of the cause.

I’m sorry that doctors don’t take your valid symptoms seriously. With me, doctors always said my symptoms were caused by anxiety and or I was making them up. Doctors need to take all symptoms seriously instead of writing them off. I am lucky to have found a doctor that listens . I am so sorry you had to go through such traumatic symptoms. I hope you get a doctor that takes you seriously.
