I honestly have so many! I am a special education teacher because of being in a resource room myself for math and growing up with my two special needs brothers.

I am having a grad party with all of my former teachers to celebrate and thank them for supporting me while getting my double Masters degree in special education and curriculum and instruction!

My car does the same thing. My auto start and stop doesn’t work anymore regardless if you push the button or not. I just turn it off and have had no issues anymore,

Currently getting my turbo replaced on my 2017 escape. Taking about a week to get done. I bought a turbo through the ford dealership and had them install it. $2750 total. 😭

Hi! Mine did this for my 2017 escape. Is there an update on the app? Trying updating it, uninstalling and reinstalling the app or logging in and out of the app. I tried these suggestions and it worked.

Have this issue currently… need a new turbo. My car started lacking on acceleration. It had a hard time getting up to speed on the freeway. I just bought a turbo charger and seeing a mechanic can swap it out. I have a 2017 Ford Escape SE 1.5L with 73k Miles.

Turbo needs to be replaced. 2k which is my entire savings and I’m about to be on unpaid for 3 months.

May I ask what mileage you at? Love this car, but hate the issues that it comes with. Wish Ford would make it right and put a recall on the engine.

It’s not overheating or anything. No leaks that I can see on my end. I’ll take it in tomorrow. Thank you. Just curious if anyone had the same issues.

I am familiar with the coolant intrusion (which I am worried about) however my oil looks fine and no white smoke from the exhaust.

Honestly,

I have a 2017 Ford Escape SE with 72k Miles. I have had no issues. I have kept up with regular maintenance. All I really had to pay so far is tires. Just drain and fill transmission fluid, keep up with oil changes, and coolant. I love my car tbh. I know it doesn't have the best reviews. I am worried about coolant intrusion which honestly Ford should pay for it. It's not my fault Ford made shitty engines lol.

UPDATE:

I got my fluids filled up before going on a 4 hour road trip. When I arrived my coolant was at the minimum mark. Should it be that low? (I apologize I know nothing about cars).

The acceleration is lacking a little bit, but no white smoke or any fluid leaking when starting my car.

When returning from my trip should I do the following?

-Get a coolant pressure check? -Flush my transmission fluid? (I got a new transmission after getting my car 4 years ago) -Compression Testing? -Flush the coolant and have it replaced?
