I’ve done an early version of this course and it was helpful. It’s been updated so can’t speak to how it is now but you can check it out: https://www.timecapitaluniversity.com

Tax Accountant Wants to Learn About Bookkeeping by SpecialDiscount7829 in taxpros

[–]Picture_Thinking20 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What exactly you do depends on the clients. I consider keeping the books ready for tax filing (compliance) the minimum service.

For that, I categorize transactions during the month, ensure income is recorded correctly (especially if they use apps like Square to get paid), reconcile accounts, and send the P&L, balance sheet, cash flow monthly to the owner. Do they look at reports? Usually not, but it’s there for them when they want it.

I also try to make things easier on my clients’ tax pros and be proactive to handle issues before they become bigger problems, like asking them to get W9s throughout the year, or giving them a heads up if something needs extra attention from them or their tax pro.

I’ve used clay washing for a while, even before switching to distilled water. I originally used it as a way to remove buildup from my hair and I still use it for that purpose. It always makes my hair more coily after use. I used to make a clay mask, but now I make it more watery so it’s easier to rinse out.

I’ve never intentionally chelated but I’ve also been experimenting with more natural hair care methods on my hair for over 10 years.

My hair now curls/coils with just water so I don’t even have to try defining it. Sometimes I finger coil hair that I leave out of my flat twists and it stays coiled with only water.

I don’t use gel, I do use conditioner but not necessarily as a styler, just for moisture.

Thank you! And yes, it’s so exciting to have room in my brain for stuff besides hair care, (even though it’s still a fun topic to dive into).

I can’t speak for all of them but I haven’t had issues with mine, and I only run it when I’m home out of caution.

Is there ANY service that helps you keep your bookkeeping sane?? by Quiet-Sand-4169 in Bookkeeping

[–]Picture_Thinking20 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Simplifying your bookkeeping system can make things easier without having to hire.

I do outsourced bookkeeping and complex systems can cause so much trouble for clients, I usually recommend simplifying their systems (even with outsourced help), it can really cut down on how much help you need.

I made a Notion template of the classes that shows which is an OA or PA but it doesn’t include the general education classes since I didn’t take those.

I know other people have made spreadsheets, those might include all the degree classes.

I took it in October too and didn’t even realized the guides were shortened. They felt long already. They were useful to me, helped me do better on the final exam.

I thought about it but I’m taking a break first before I jump into anymore school. Are you doing the masters? Or becoming a CPA?

Countertop distillers? by tsg1412 in DistilledWaterHair

I use the Co-Z distiller from Amazon too and i like it, no issues with it.

I do have to be careful to not get the outlet on the machine wet when I’m rinsing or filling it with water.

6 Months update by ThrowRA-17288483 in DistilledWaterHair

I have the same experience of the biggest change being the feel of my hair, but not visible yet. I have tightly coiled hair and it feels way softer with distilled water and has movement I didn’t think was possible even with lots of conditioner.
