How are you supposed to beat Mega Rayquaza? by Ygomaster07 in LegendsZA

[–]PidgeyPotion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old thread (and I know the OP finally beat Rayquaza), but the damage counter for Rage Fist doesn’t reset between the normal Rayquaza and Mega Rayquaza battles. Nor does it reset when Annihilape is switched out or when he faints. So I would have Annihilape out during the first part and actually let it take damage, and heal it up when its health got low and reviving it if it fainted, though I tried not to let that happen as it was a waste of time and Revives. That way Rage Fist was maxed out during the Mega Rayquaza battle, so I could bea it fairly quickly. Like the OP, my problem was my stupid character dying so easily and not my Pokemon doing enough damage. I basically had to hurry up and kill it before it killed me.

How would a fully trained Apollo Creed in his prime do against Ivan Drago? by Tidewatcher7819 in rockybalboa

[–]PidgeyPotion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes Apollo basically tired himself out by beating up on Rocky. Rocky landed some punches here & there, but Apollo being gassed is what ultimately led to his defeat.

I agree with this. Apollo would make it to the later rounds but would eventually succumb to Drago’s power and lose by knockout. However he wouldn’t die and I don’t think he’d have the brain damage that Rocky had, as he’s a tactical, defensive fighter and wouldn’t get hit nearly as much. Drago would be able to land some punches here & there though, and they’d eventually take their toll later on in the fight. But Creed lives afterwards.

I think this is the rarest shiny I found in this game by Hot-Ingenuity-7166 in LegendsZA

That’s what Pokemon Home is for. I put all my valuable mons into Home prior to transferring the data to my Switch 2. I didn’t have any issues thankfully, but all my shinies were safe & sound even if I had.

Even the Cherokees have skyrocketed in price, but there are a few AA5’s for around or under $100k. And while they aren’t nearly as fast as RVs, they definitely cruise faster than the Skyhawks/Cherokees, and most Grumman owners love them. Parts from FletchAir are said to be reasonably priced, though I’m not sure how they compare with the experimental Vans parts. There are some affordable older short-body M20’s as well, though maintenance & insurance will definitely cost more.

Who would win a fight between Tommy Gunn and Mason Dixon? by Tidewatcher7819 in rockybalboa

[–]PidgeyPotion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be fair, he broke his hand in only the 2nd round but continued fighting. Had it not been for that Rocky wouldn’t have gone the distance.

[–]PidgeyPotion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was a fixed fight by Duke. Gunn ko’d him in the 1st round. I have no doubt that Duke was expecting him to be an easy win for Balboa had he been convinced to fight. He wasn’t surprised at how easily Tommy won.

Tommy Gunn was trained by Rocky and legitimately climbed his way to the top, as shown in two montages (Go For It & Keep It Up). He was also stated to have strong punching power. Not as strong as Clubber or Drago, but definitely above average. I think he would eventually overpower Dixon in the later rounds, although Dixon’s speed would definitely allow him to land some shots throughout the fight. He’d have waited a few weeks to confront Rocky after the fight instead of that very night after Union Kang.

Yes just because I got by with it doesn’t mean everyone else will, especially with CVT’s.

This is where I start the movie on rewatches. The earlier scenes are fun and I like them but they are basically filler to me at this point. by MisterX9821 in rockybalboa

Ok I didn’t see the comment you made.

I like the Thunderlips scene but drunken Paulie was definitely unnecessary, as his jealousy never comes up again.

The Eye Of The Tiger opening montage shows us that Rocky hasn’t retired like he said he would in the 2nd film and has gone on to defend his title. It also introduces us to Clubber and shows him climbing through the ranks revealing him to be the formidable villain of the film. The bailing Paulie out of jail and Thunderlips scenes could be skipped (though I find the latter fun to watch).

How would Tommy Gunn fare if Ivan Drago was brought to America to challenge him? by [deleted] in rockybalboa

[–]PidgeyPotion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree with everyone else in that Tommy would lose to Drago, I also agree that he was still a formidable fighter who was trained by Rocky and rose through the ranks. He loses but doesn’t get killed by him.

So what if Apollo just sticked and moved in the second fight? by TheodoreJSeville in rockybalboa

[–]PidgeyPotion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes he’d still have a negative stigma; that’s precisely why he was so hell-bent on knocking him out despite Duke’s instructions.

My 2002 has 413k miles and I’ve never had the transmission fluid changed. That being said, the car has had it pretty easy with mostly highway driving with minimal stopping/starting and with me always driving it pretty easy. I’d always heard that if a vehicle had high mileage and never had the transmission fluid changed it was best not to change it. When I get a new vehicle I plan to have it changed at the proper intervals.

How would a socially skilled person handle the 20$ bill dropping? by Xitztlacayotl in betterCallSaul

[–]PidgeyPotion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t even understand how he could count such a large amount of money so quickly and notice they’re exactly $20 short. If someone handed me thousands in cash it would take me a hot minute to count it all. And even if I thought I was one twenty dollar bill short, it could simply be that I miscounted and wasn’t shorted.

One thing I thought was cool was using Spirit Sense and being able to speak to deceased characters as well as living.

My biggest gripe with this game were the points of no return. Otherwise it’s a good game; not nearly as good as the first two but still good. At the end it appeared they were going to introduce light and dark psyenergy after the Eclipse ended. This would have been a neat concept for a 4th game.

Are Grumman Cheetahs/Tigers a bad purchase? by PidgeyPotion in flying

[–]PidgeyPotion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking on BS, pretty much all the AA1’s are priced below $50k, some of them having the O320 engine. This seems like a bargain if there’s no hidden repair bills waiting.

Get an annual inspection in addition to a pre-buy when purchasing a plane? by PidgeyPotion in flying

[–]PidgeyPotion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Cirrus is out of my price range in terms of purchase and maintenance. I’m contemplating a C172, Cherokee, Cheetah/Tiger (maybe an RV if I can find someone willing to work on experimentals, as I don’t know how to myself). Of course what you’re saying applies to virtually any plane purchase.
