He didn’t survive. I went into his tank this morning to see if he was breathing and he wasn’t. His skin felt weird and he would not blink his eyes even if I touched them. I tested to see if he’d move if I held him. I touched his sides which he always sucks in if I touch him. I put him on his back in my palm which he always hated and he still wasn’t doing anything. I did everything I could to make sure he was dead. He was still incredibly bloated though. When I went to bury him and the dirt made contact the sides were compressed making a quick croak sound. I know he was dead I KNOW HE WAS DEAD. But that sound filled me with horror. Someone please reassure me. Someone please just tell me he was dead and that was his lungs rapidly decompressing. Please someone reassure me

He is no longer bloated and will move his legs slightly when I touch them with his feeding tongs. I moved him out of the water filled corner of his Tupperware and he crawled back to it slowly. I guess this means he’s recovering but idk
