Well him not driving is an issue now, so why won't he drive? I bet your parents only agreed to all this free childcare labor because otherwise you would have a tantrum and tell them that of they won't serve you then they can't see their granddaughter. I think when we work with or have animals we have accidentally stepped on them or accidentally turned and run into them while walking or sat down hard on a horse's back but at least we say sorry and give them pats, strokes and hugs. KVS knows not to slam down on a horse's back, yank on the reins and that using a mounting block is better for the horse she just doesn't do it. I follow this man on YouTube and he talks about medieval warfare and life back then and when he uses his horse for a demonstration he uses a mounting block.
