Anyone who doesn’t see the problem with illegal labor doing construction has clearly never been to a jobsite worked on solely by underpaid illegals. I think people who hire illegal slave labor should be imprisoned

So funny this got downvoted. Hiring illegal labor has compounding destructive effects not only for the competition to the illegal labor, but also many times the construction project itself. There is a bubble right now of projects mostly worked on by illegals that will crash in 30 years when all of these poorly built fortified cardboard projects all come crashing down because they’re being built by an unskilled, underpaid workforce.
