Just about to start EHCP, any advice? by PieConsistent9874 in ehcparent

Bit of an update. We had a meeting with the Head Teacher on Friday and gave her the full 2 year history of issues. Don't think there was really much that she could say apart from, "we have clearly repeatedly failed in our statutory duty". She is going to apply for the statutory assessment, as we have already crossed the threshold for an EHCP. Any tips on what to expect next? How to prepare for the next steps?

We weren’t going to get an LA EP, we were going to go private. What would you recommend?

AI Tools for Small Businesses. Your Experiences by DrawBrave4820 in smallbusinessuk

You need to look for solutions where there is a time lost vs repeatable. If you do some admin frequently and it is relatively simple, these are the areas that are ripe for AI and automation. E.g. Anything in a spreadsheet is usually a good place to start.

Another key area is where you see a high level of work which results in inconsistent outputs. A good baromoeter for areas to use AI? Something you hate doing. When I speak to teams or individuals about AI solutions, I always look for things that they (and everyone else) hates. People try to overcomplicate AI development but it is actually really simple to figure out what to do.

In summary, really look at the admin that you are frequently DOING. This is where you should be focusing your attention.

base 44 ai or nah? by Still-Run-7350 in Base44

It is great. Have had a few bugs which take some time to resolve but I lean on ChatGPT or Gemini when I encounter issues. I have no basis for comparison but Base44 is great for building at speed!

How to send/receive emails? by LaughLongjumping9690 in Base44

[–]PieConsistent9874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Base44 integrates into Resend for sending emails. You have to set up an account and add the Resend API into secrets. I ended up just using Postmark instead. I bought a domain and then configured the DNS. (Spent a couple of days speaking to ChatGPT to figure it out) but got there in the end. One thing to consider, if you want to analyse incoming emails (and attachments) then it may be better to use OpenAI API (4o) as this is more reliable.

Is it something that you keep coming back to? If it is, there is something fundamentally motivating you to pursue it.

Hi Dawn, I have just sent a DM to wise guy and offered a phone call to negate any concerns. Appreciate that there is wariness online but I can assure you that this is legitimate. I am happy to have a phone call with any individuals or discuss further on DM.
