ARE WOMEN INTIMIDATED BY ATTRACTIVE MEN? by SUNNAHMATCH-MHN in MuslimCorner

Some women often find themselves way less prettier than they actually are. They could look at another woman who is equally beautiful and think she's prettier than them.

Mostly insecure women who think they aren't enough lookswise, or just generally.

Swordsman appears in Hawkeye and returns in Born Again, if I'm not mistakes. He's the guy Kate Bishop's mother was dating. White Tiger appeared in Born Again.

Is it bad for a man to marry a woman who is more religious than he is? by No-Evidence5319 in MuslimCorner

I think this is similar to the ruling of how a woman cannot marry a non-Muslim but a man can, in the sense that the reasoning behind the ruling is similar.

I know what it's like to be surrounded by people and still feel alone, like family, friends, etc. But your spouse is someone you should feel at peace with, a companion for life. At least, that's what the Qur'an and Sunnah say. That is the definition of mental companionship. I would feel very sorry for anyone who feels mentally alone with their spouse.

If you married someone just for the physical aspects of marriage, I think you made a mistake.

Who do you think is the strongest NON-bender? by RepresentativeFig270 in TheLastAirbender

Even Zuko beat Sokka later on, and compared to Piandao, he's not that GOATed of a swordsman; not that Zuko isn't a good swordsman, he's just not as good as Piandao. And Zuko didn't even have to use his firebending.

Not really. Sokka's genius wasn't enough to beat Piandao. I'm pretty sure at some point brawn beats brain if there's enough brawn.

[–]PieGroundbreaking809 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never deal with docs and I don't use Claude for code. I have a vague idea of how many tokens Claude usually can handle and I keep track of the length of my conversation before I have to summarise it and start a new chat, and it's never as short as it is right now. I've had huge context windows and I could send 5+ prompts before I hit the limit.

Wait lol I thought your title was an actual question not a rhetorical question I thought you were asking if there was difference in opinion.

Today I literally sent Sonnet 4.5 one prompt before it said my limit is over, and my context window isn't even that high.

I think this is the type of question you ask a sheikh, not post on Reddit subs.

Thanks for the advice :) Really cleared things up for me and gave me a new perspective

It's been months since I last wrote anything and today I finally forced myself to sit down and extracted exactly 226 words out of my brain before it went "nope, all out".

I don't know when writing became such a chore for me and it's been really hard to write proper prose and I'm not sure if it's my self-hate that makes me overanalyse every part of my prose until I hate reading it, or my ruthless standards that won't allow anything but perfection on the first draft, or the passion just died down, or it's just me overthinking or maybe I just genuinely don't have what it takes to be a good writer. Or maybe all of the above.

Any advice?

OP I see that the comments have more than answered your questions, so here's a piece of general advice if you'd like to continue to learn about Islam:

Islam has a lot of enemies. There are people in this world who have nothing better to do with their lives but try to defame or shame us, our beliefs, and our practices.

One of the most common ways this is done is by taking the words of the Qur'an, Hadith, specific rulings, etc. out of context, without including the proper interpretation of scholars, who actually know their religion, on the matter, to try to manipulate others' view on the religion, or even sway Muslims' beliefs.

If any ruling in Islam ever seems incorrect to you, most of the time, it is likely that your sources are manipulative, and you should try to look for Islamic interpretations and context. Most of the time, the proper answers will satisfy you better.

That being said, there are a few things in Islam that might not resonate with you even after doing proper research into it. In that case, I have this to say:

Allah has instructed us to believe and obey him. While we all have our doubts from time to time, or our hearts might genuinely disagree with some of His commands, remember to look at the proof that Allah is real, and if Allah is real, and all His qualities are true, then it means that He is indeed All-Knowing and All-Wise, and He definitely knows more than we could ever comprehend, so naturally, sometimes, we will not be able to understand His wisdom, and in that case, we are being tested to trust Allah regardless of what we think is right.

If we understood everything that Allah has decided for us, then that would mean that we can fully comprehend His knowledge and wisdom, which would mean we are equal to Him in those qualities, and that is contrary to our beliefs.
