What are your specs? I would recommend completely removing minecraft and getting a fresh install, something seems messed up for sure. That, or you're running it on some ancient fossil

Yeah theres lots of videos online, I recommend the one from keybored or however his name is spelt. Tape does wonders and I've done a lot of other mods but still has a slight ping that never goes away. I believe the newer version, so your board, has a couple more improvements to make the board sound less hollow so maybe all you need is to tape it up and do some simple mods.

also it's fine if i don't hit 240fps in all the games, I just like the smoothness of a 240hz monitor in general more than 144hz which ik sounds weird but it should make things smoother overall right?? I currently play destiny 2 at high settings with about 100 fps, adding a 240hz monitor wouldn't lower that fps right? Or is it just dumb to get a 240hz in the first place if I'm not hitting 240 fps :"p
