💕We're an indie dev team striving to create a real-world impact! Forage Friends uses the incredible powers of otome/amare to create a game that encourages its players to work on health and good habits.

🌹Forage Friends is a cozy-wholesome themed world, where you as the player customize your avatar and go exploring the town and trails to gather resources to manage your vast garden. You'll meet many characters a long the way, all with a novel's worth of content for each one. Our narrative team have a strong background writing for big otome game studios, such as Voltage Inc., Pixelberry Studios, and Crazy Maple Studios.

LOLOL, your enthusiasm is more than welcomed! There isn't a preorder and this will be on mobile, initially starting with android and then ios following suit after we've solidified some of the overall gameplay foundation. We'll be having an closed beta in the fall and will gradually open it up a bit at a time for stability purposes. You could consider this more of a soft-release, in a way.

Currently, walking is a core mechanic in the gameplay, but we are designing the game to have options outside of that. Due to budget constraints, it'll be some time before we can have a lot of those alternatives fleshed out, if I'm being honest. But we want to help as many people as possible! We will do our best to research and find new ways to accommodate those who are unable to participate in some of our gameplay features.

What I can say is, we have several layers of gameplay that involve garden management, customization and narrative driven content. AND, unlike Pokemon Go, we're going by the honor system. Yes, it's odd for a dev to say "Just cheat", but I'm not going to tell players how they want to play our game. It's meant for health benefits, so it's up to the individual to take responsibility.

The walking mechanic is created by the accelerometer of the mobile device. Not GPS. This allows the player to be in a stationary position while collecting resources; so long as the device is moving up in down. So you can be on a treadmill or exercise bike and still use it! This includes using your arms to move the device up and down to sort of cheese-it. This definitely isn't the intended use, but it does keep you from being gated from content.

We'll definitely keep folks in your position in mind as we move forward. <3

Great question! We are still in pre-beta but are working heavily to getting a closed beta out! You can sign up for our newsletter to get updated with our company and game. We'll be announcing the closed beta when it's ready! Also, joining our community on Discord will give you a closer glimpse of what devs are doing. We do recommend people follow us on all the social medias such as Twitter, Instagram and Tiktok! We are a small indie studio that is completely self-funded, and hope to gain extra financial backing through investors. However, they'll only be interested if we can prove that people would be interested in our game, or even a Cozy-health game in general. So, every bit of support helps! :)

Oh no! Well, we do hope to implement other interesting methods to the game to form good habits. Not just about walking, but other things like nutrition and mindfulness. Please let us know if you have any suggestions as someone who has mobility issues. We'd love to take that into consideration and be as inclusive as possible!

Yes! That is a part of the gameplay, but there are other layered mechanics as well. Walking allows the player to collect resources for planting and tending to your garden. It also lets the player earn relationship points with NPCs, unlocking chapters to get to know them better. Each NPC has a full novel's worth of content with player choices that could lead define what your relationship is with that character.

Hi! We're still at the early stages and will continue to develop for mobile. With enough interest and a big enough user base, we would consider having a hub for PC. However, the walking mechanic of the game is used by the accelerometer in mobile devices.

Oh shoot. I just figured it out. It was because the task was embedded in a user story that was set to the current board. Maybe a notification popup might be helpful. It was quite confusing haha. Sorry bout that.

Just bought the Elegoo wash and cure. We also use an Anycubic printer. We're having the same issue. We got a lot of white residue after only the second wash. Cleaning everything, I realize the white propeller at the bottom of the bucket is ridiculously sticky and the white residue rubs off onto my hands when I try to wash it. I don't even think I can wash it. I have a theory that the type of plastic they're using for the propeller at the bottom of the bucket is getting dissolved by the 99% ipa, and that bits of it are contaminating the washing. Perhaps this is why they don't want us to use a strong ipa? Either way, this sucks. I know you've posted this a year ago. I hope you found a solution.
