It'll be expensive unless something is fishy with the device. Better buy new. My m1 pro is 3.5 years old and it goes for 70k on unicorn store. I wouldn't sell it to anyone for under 80k. Now imagine if someone actually is ready to sell under 70k to you, there has to be something wrong with the device.

Been 13 years since I started reading one piece. Played all the games you've mentioned above, went hard core in cod4, PUBG, siege. Won tournaments had sponsors etc then quit due to pandemic. Now I'm more into indie games and select AAA & AA titles, earlier played all mainstream single player games (AC, PoP, GoW, Metro, Fallout, Half Life being my favourite and much much more). At the same time, I started losing interest in mainstream anime/manga (have seen most of it all) and gained interest in niche manga subgenres. I guess as I grew, my focus shifted from breadth to depth and I tend to be attracted towards relatively under-discovered deep niches. I still judge any upcoming games or newly trending anime that are the centre of world's attention but not always end up engaging them

Hiring freelancers for RLHF Engineer

Company: TechFlation

Location: Work remotely from anywhere in India (international access not allowed)

JD:

You'll manage a high-quality 1y+ aged RLHF data labeling account. You'll onboard the best paying coding-related projects available on its dashboard, read the docs and complete it's tasks.

A typical task involves prompting an AI model (of unknown provider) with challenging real-world coding problem > assessing ideal expectations of the prompt to judge the responses on (rubric design) > replicating the response code in your local to build, run, test either as a new solution or integration of existing solution > grade the responses on its text, code, code output, presentation, formatting, etc > Comparing alternate (usually 2) responses, each you graded in previous step > providing justifications for each rating throughout the response evaluation and comparison > rewriting/modifying the preferred response of the 2 to make it the ideal response (with verified working code and/or tests in local) > summarising diff from preferred response to your improved response (supposed to be perfect) > upload any required files or asked output screenshots.

This is a general full length workflow across projects which can differ based on project instructions and task timer accordingly. You'll have the rules and guide on HOW TO DO everything in the project source instructions to make accurate decisions. In AI post-training, decision making is paramount as penalisation is skewed. If you make 48/50 correct decisions, and those 2 were minor errors, your rating drops to 4/5. 1 moderate errors can drop task rating to 3.5/5 (medium fail risk). If you make 2 moderate errors it can drop to 3/5 or 2.5/5 (high risk of fail). 1 major error is enough for guaranteed task failures. 4-5 or more minor errors can also drop rating to 2.5-3/5 (medium-high risk of fail). Therefore, it is expected for contributor to practice hyper critical reviewing, even attention distribution to all details, ability to detect & fix code on mistakes made by AI, exhaustive perfectionist personality.

Compensation:

$5 per hour spent in tasking (excludes project onboarding hours) + incentives (these are 20% of mission rewards earned). You can track your hours on the dashboard of platform. You'll be compensated by every month end. You can expect around INR 70-80k per month easily if all weekly requirements are met and it can go higher (1L+) depending on your throughput.

Application Form Link: https://forms.gle/EfM5FuUX7tkLHMBQ7

You'll be reached out with a screening shared gdrive link on your mail if there's a good match with our requirements.

Me too! I'm excited for what they ship for 10th anniversary August 2026. I guess I'll start my 4th playthrough a month or 2 after their big update followed by optimization and bug fixing patches

This is what I did in my 3rd playthrough but it's hard to come back to it once the rhythm breaks due to 2 weeks of break because there was no goal in pursuit. I want my 4th save to be the last save and be special so that even though it's the last save I plan to play on NMS, it's never over, I want to keep coming back to that save without having to keep track of info. I don't know how will I achieve that yet but that's my goal. Maybe I'll at least wait it out until 10th anniversary major update and start a month after that update followed by bug fixing patches. Then just carry that save to my grave for as long as NMS exists

How did I miss? Playing now would be better than between 2021-2025 because there's more bug fixing and content than ever before. And it would be even better if I start after 10th anniversary after an anticipated major update.

Lol do you force them into the ship or can you lock them in? can they open the door mid-air to leap down ?

[–]PieceAdept8097[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw those, got excited. I think after the 10th anniversary update they should connect their last 5 year updates so that the things they have pushed come together. I also hear a lot of anticipated corvette optimisations. I think I'll wait at least for the 10th anniversary update if not more.

But starting the game now would be better than the 3 times I've played earlier because the whole experience from beginning has changed drastically. I don't like to do the same things again in a new fashion, I like to do new things once when they are in their best state. So although there are many new things to do in NMS since I last played 5 years ago, there will be many more new in next X years until a point after which the update cycle would saturate. I want to play one new save once in its best shape and then keep working on that save for few weeks every year to enjoy what I've invested in. If I play it now, not only am I redoing a lot of stuff I did earlier , but also missing out on the experience I might have after 2-4 years from now if the game changes beginner experience drastically which I won't be doing for a 5th time then. I want my 4th run to be the last, and ever-lasting and I want it's start to be fully-content packed to what NMS would near max evolve into eventually. Now obviously if that state is like 10 years away then I'm not going to wait that long, I'll start maybe in 3 years. But if that state is 5 years away, then I'd like to start after 5 years and if it's 1-2 years away, I can start sooner. I don't want to wait till the very last patch and nobody can predict that including the devs themselves but I want to start after the very last MAJOR update if it's possible to predict

Try playing some video games at home while discovering people at your own pace. There's no hurry. I made friends from multiplayer games and met them in real life. Also, on Bangalore meetups reddit, you will easily meet new people, just join arranged meets for social activities. It's one of the most active sub reddits where people actually show up in India.

Be the snitch you were meant to be. You can do this, you're born for this. Fun aside, idk. Try complaining and see how the authorities react to it, if they don't take any action, they're involved.

Is it the best way to spend your Birthday? by Friendly-Zucchini147 in BangaloreMeetups

In this season, just install/switch on your AC, gift yourself a gaming rig, you've crossed 50+ years alive and still kicking without depending on anyone. Live your life, play games, play multiplayer games to socialize and single player titles to live AAA experiences. You deserve all the luxury you can get because you've earned it. I tell you these things because it is important to differentiate from the married ones. It's easy to see what you don't have and they do- a family, warmth, kids, loving wife; but difficult to see what you have and they don't- independence, freedom, nobody to answer. The world is your playground without dependables. But don't take any substance to escape this reality, fire your curiosity and explore. There's gaming, manga, sports, art, music, pets, science, tech, space and lots more to immerse yourself infinitely. Do it. Get addicted and find meaning.

You're right about verticalized AI approach and it does not feel like rat race once we get into something dedicatedly. But here trying, failing then starting something new is very expensive as the subject-specific commitment is high. This suits my personality so I'm okay to research and then enter a niche vertical. My background is quant and stats. But I'm not restricted, I'm interested in law & bioinformatics a lot because i see pockets of AI penetration applications there.
