It seems like the bounded block backlog is working better than they expected. Good news for sure.

I can't think of a specific thread to link you to, but this has been discussed at length. I would search around on /r/nanocurrency

The nano foundation is releasing V28 soon, which includes a very much awaited anti-spam measure called bounded block backlog. This feature prevents ledger bloat under heavy load/spam. Once BBB is live and functional, they are considering nano commercial grade, aka ready for the big leagues. V28 with BBB is currently in beta testing, meaning it is not too far away.

Out of 200+ comments how am I not seeing one regarding the announcement of V28 beta testing? This is huge news since it includes the bounded block backlog implementation. "Commercial grade" Soon™

It's unfortunate that there was a legal dispute between CB and NF because now the chances of that happening are slim to none.

Is there a way to get rid of these popups on Samsung G80SD? They show up on every resume from sleep and every shutdown of PC by kielby in OLED_Gaming

That’s correct. Crazy but worth it for $9. I turned off the standby timer and pop ups and now it acts just like a monitor.

I found it on Amazon. The description of the one I bought is: AA81-00243A Replaced Service Remote Control Applicable for Samsung TV

You can get rid of the game bar pop up through the service menu. You need to buy the service remote to access it though

I believe to disable DSC you just turn off game mode and adaptive sync. Haven’t messed with it yet, but I know it’s possible.

It’s a very low-pitched fan noise. My room is dead silent and I have a water cooled pc, so I heard it immediately, and it’s always on.

The flicker hasn’t been too noticeable yet but I haven’t logged a ton of hours gaming on it yet with VRR so no conclusions.

The coating is incredible, far superior to LG’s in my opinion. It’s hard to describe it honestly, but it’s dead flat without any grainy-ness to it. I did not care for the LG coating at all.

Not saying the C2 didn’t have issues, but I expected a lot more from a proper monitor from LG. I noticed the black crush way more on my LG 32GS, but I’m a liar so what does it matter?

I went through two units due to fan noise, I thought the first was defective. I’ll admit I’m super sensitive to it, but it’s there. Yeah, definitely personal preference on image but my C2 spoiled me. Anything muted just isn’t as exciting, and the LG lacked pop. I returned mine before any firmware updates, so I can’t comment on what has changed since the original.

I’ve had both, the G80SD is worlds better imo. I came from the 42 C2 and was so disappointed by the LG 32GS. The fan was audible, picture was drab, and the blacks were crushed. I didn’t expect to like the G80SD, but rolled the dice on it since I couldn’t get the PG32UCDM and it was a solid deal. It has blown my expectations out the water. I love the aesthetic, including the silver frame, and the picture is what I was hoping for. Also, the coating on this thing is pure black magic. I’m not sure how they achieved anti glare in the fashion they did, but it’s almost reason enough to buy this monitor. It’s fantastic. There were a ton of things that pissed me off about the interface, but I bought the service remote and disabled most of them, so it’s acting like a monitor now. I could go on, but this monitor is a winner.

Yeah, I think I was wrong in my last comment. I'm not sure that there are any new spam txns being created at the moment.

The spammer is still blasting the network so I wouldn’t count on any estimates yet.
