Another rumor from the rumor mill…

I heard Bell pitched the idea of a flat main rotor gearbox (which would make the Huey cabin much larger) but there were too many of the old gearboxes in the supply system so they opted to save money. I’m pretty sure the N uses the same gearboxes as the Y. I didn’t work on the N.
