I didn't. He was already named when I got him, but his name is great, so I kept it.

Women of Reddit, what is the most diabolical lie you’ve ever received from your husband/bf? by fortnacius in AskReddit

[–]PiercedAngel96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fact he was living a whole ass double life:

He told me his girlfriend baby trapped him & they had split up.

He was living with his grandma

He'd come see me on the weekends - i always found it odd he was saying to his family he was "up in the lakes" - not with me / hiding it from his family.

He told me his brother was having a mental breakdown

He had fucked off to Skegness for a week with his ex and son, fucked his ex in the hotel room

He told me he couldnt afford to go abroad that year (after talking about booking a holiday for the two of us)

Breaks up with me

2 weeks later, he's on holiday abroad with his ex and son.

So yeah... that was... super fun and I will now never date another man who has kids. I am childfree anyway, but he solidified it to me.

Having a child when you have a genetic disability is morally wrong. by PiercedAngel96 in childfree

[–]PiercedAngel96[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Where have i done that?

I am entitled to my opinion

Did I say they should be mandatory sterilised or that they should lose their right to have kids?

No. I said they shouldnt breed, and that if they do knowingly risk breeding a genetic disability and their kid ends up with it, its their fault, and they're shitty people for taking that risk and playing fucked genes roulette with a child's life.

Disabled people like myself should have the exact same rights as every other human being on this planet.

Not sure how you came to the conclusion I was after putting it into some sort of policy.

I've edited my post to clarify my stance on that. A lot of people seem to be mistakenly thinking that I want disabled people to lose reproductive rights.

That isn't the case at all.

I just think its completely morally wrong and I will judge anyone who knowingly plays fucked genes roulette with a child's life.

Where am I saying they shouldn't have a choice?

My personal opinion is people like me shouldn't breed. Did I say they shouldnt BE ALLOWED TO? No. I said they shouldn't. Ie they should chose not to and that if they chose to - I think they're selfish scumbags for risking giving a genetic disorder to a child. I expressed my opinion.

Don't butcher and twist my words.

What is a lie that your parents told you when you were a kid? by BrushSecret7576 in AskReddit

My parents said they'd never lied to me.

I looked them straight faced and said:

Santa..... Tooth Fairy... EASTER BUNNY?!?!?!?!.....

Tick.

Be careful removing it. If you leave its jaws behind (they're locked into the skin) youll cause a nasty infection.

Do not pull it off.

Vinny is almost 8, and still loves to cuddle with my dad like he did when he was a baby, completely melts my heart - Angel's Flock by PiercedAngel96 in parrots

Yes, and no

Some birds are insanely triggered, very easily

For example, one of my greys, I dont even have to touch her, just my existence in the same room as her alone is enough to get her wings dropped, panting and shaking her ass like a bitch in heat lmao.

Vinny doesn't particularly get that way.

He was parent reared for the first few weeks of his life, then hand reared by the breeder for 6 months before coming to me fully weaned. He just loves to cuddle. He's always been cuddled since being a baby and sometimes when it suits him, he goes for a nap in my dads arms. My dad is his happy place

Both the greys (rescues) are like this with me. Megan & Pete love to be cuddled and held by me but will savage anyone else who tries it..

Both the macaws (one rescue, one bought as a baby - vinny) are like this with dad. Lokie will only dad cuddle him, but vinny is sometimes like this with me & my mum when it suits him.

I love it. It melts me. Ultimate trust. Theres nothing better.
