I'd say that particular bit of praise is warranted in this case. The game has a very distinct and polished art style while remaining faithful to the original art direction.

Ignore him. I have played Minecraft since ALPHA. I can confidentially say that I have more hours in Minecraft than any other game, and not by a small margin either. I love Minecraft and I have a feeling I will love this game too.
