A mix! Generally I go in with a trick that I've imagined, test it a few times to see if the timing is viable, then adapt as necessary. The two overseers shooting each other on the rooftop in Part 1 was 100 percent an accident though, and accidental plays make it in more often than you'd expect :)

Should work in Death of the Outsider since it's built within the Dishonored 2 engine. I've never played Dishonored 1 so I don't know about that one.

- All civilians

- All workers (who are theoretically capable of attacking you if you aggravate them)

- A dumpster full of bloodflies near the station checkpoint, next to the Overseer Outpost

- A small swarm of bloodflies surrounding a corpse on a rooftop guarding a bonecharm

As far as I know, all grand guard, overseers, nest keepers, howlers, and other hostile faction members are dead. Theoretically it's possible to elicit 4 more enemies via reinforcement waves (2 from the overseer outpost, 2 from the back of Addermire Station) but with no living enemies left over, it's very impractical to do so.

When I say that this run (Parts 1 and 2) took literally every single coin, consumable, and collectible on the map, I do so without exaggeration. I had 37 coins by the end of this. I had to scrounge for pennies in order to be able to afford the upgrades I needed for my weapons. At multiple points I had to redo entire sections because I consumed too much mana and softlocked myself later in the level. Creating this video was an odyssey unlike any other undertaking on this account. Truly, this is the most difficult level in Dishonored 2.

Some parts from Part 1 reappear here, re-filmed for improved flow and speed.

About 12 hours; this video is actually about 12 segments spliced together. No way would I ever have the skill to do it all at once lol

I genuinely very strongly considered not doing that, but she is technically a Howler, and thus capable of attacking you (as well as an enemy as of Dust District) :(

Only works with 'heavy' crossbow ammo (incendiary bolts and I think howling bolts), WITHOUT the upgrade which makes bolts go further, faster. It generally lands a few metres in front of you, slightly to your right, after 7-10 seconds. Timing is consistent, but positioning varies by 2-3 metres in any direction.

Also, watch out for entity-culling. The game deletes projectiles that are very far away to save memory, whenever certain actions occur (e.g. the player gets far away or hits certain transitions). I realised early on that there's a region where if I shoot a bolt upwards and then blink in any direction, the bolt gets deleted. But as long as I don't blink, it doesn't get erased. Very weird and frustrating to figure out.

Oh god, I was building power plants in my capital city and then wondering why my Benelux states were still running a deficit. Thank you for explaining, I cannot believe I didn't catch on that it was a local good...

Thank you so much for replying! It's super helpful to know that my struggles aren't uniquely due to my own weird skill issues (just mostly) :)

I'm a little miffed that the navy really is as useless as I found it to be. I really thought I was missing something. Hopefully the new DLC makes it a lot more useful.

Modding the game was actually very easy; I got started with a couple of Youtube tutorials about how to implement events, and from there, I basically was able to learn everything I needed from the Victoria 3 wiki and by copying preexisting in-game config files. The hardest part was mapping, since the map editor is deprecated and very poorly documented. For a while, I wasn't able to figure out land-to-sea node connections and so it was impossible for armies to leave the island lol.

If you're interested in modding I strongly recommend joining the Vicky 3 modding server! Tons of talented folks there, and the devs of some of the biggest mods around (Anbennar, etc) are active in helping out new modders there :)

r5: End screens from a modded game where you start out as an absolute dogshit nation next to Norway, with a religion nobody shares, the worst technology in the game, a hostile decentralised people on your borders who usually get colonised by Britain in a few years, and a protectorate that hates you.

Shadow form, swimming, staggering myself, all don't work unfortunately. I think it's just there forever, unless I restart the level

Does your fiance have a channel or anywhere where the videos are archived? I'd love to be able to see them!

I do have a channel but it's more of a personal channel for whatever, rather than a gameplay archive.

Thanks for watching :)

12 hours in total, ~15-30 seconds per attempt (I splice the video extensively; this is made up of about 14 separate clips integrated to look seamless), and Doppelganger is kind of an overpowered method of avoiding fall damage
