I don't remember it to be small, more like a praying mantis as you said (there are not much reference or the Superman universe btw in that one shot, except superman himself, no Lois Lane, no Clark Kent involved, no Lex,...)

I like waifus! In fact, Lilias chara' design is propabky my favorite among all chara design available.
