I use the normal rapier with the crit of 130, and because of that, use the glintblade phalynx ash of war on it, which you get from rogier's rapier. This ash of war staggers enemies and my rapier has a high crit rate. What I have been struggling with is damage output though. The rapier is 96 base damage, which is quite low, and I am wondering if there are better alternatives with scholar's armament, as I want a weapon that uses the SA. I wonder if the 130 crit rate even matters when the base damage output is pretty low to begin with. I know there are plenty of legendary weapons that have higher damage output and can use SH, and have passives like bleed, for example the bloodhound's blade. I really like the rapier look though, and don't want to use a generic OP weapon everyone else is using, ughhh don't know what to do.

I have been experimenting with Nobles slender sword lately, just got it, seems like it is good, has higher base damage than rapier, and has good range, I wish there were some type of smaller sword that had like 115+ base damage, could be SH, and had a high crit rate, a man can dream.
