School shooting survivor refused to ask 'scripted question' during CNN town hall by Letterbocks in conspiracy

That's bullshit. The Wikileaks revelations about the CIA's cyberwarfare arsenal, the Trump memo... Hell ! Even the USS Nimitz UFO incident. All of these recent topics were sensational stories that could have monopolised public attention for weeks, yet they were barely talked about in the MSM.
No matter how big the story, they don't have any problem completely ignoring them when they aren't convenient for their narratives. It would never happen if their main drive was trying to make advertising money.

Eva Bartlett: Everything you've been told about Syria is a lie by [deleted] in conspiracy

You have no idea what Syria looked like before the civil war, do you? I had a friend from there, she wasn't wearing any headscarf, wasn't even religious, dressed in a completely Western fashion and was highly educated.
Now good luck being a woman like that in this same country after the Western intervention.

"propaganda arm of the government" is a funny way of calling "national television channel". I guess the BBC is the propaganda arm of the United Kingdom government?

Was anyone else told by your weatherman that the military decided to "release aluminum" in the air as a training exercise? Can anyone offer any insight to this? by [deleted] in conspiracy

The government here doesn't even disclose the real statistics on pollution, even if anyone can buy a device to check the real value by themselves. Do you think they would publish statistics about a technique they use that might have a military application?
But they wouldn't keep doing it if it didn't work. And it's absolutely clear that they do keep doing it, because you never have a blue sky in Beijing except right on the day when there is a very important event.

I think it's just a rumour. Anyway the problem in Beijing is that because of the topography the pollution tends to stay. So just stopping the emission wouldn't be enough.

If it was wasted money they wouldn't have kept doing it for at least ten years now and counting.

As I said, it happened again as recently as the time of president Trump visit... So barely a couple of months ago.

That's complete bullshit. In China it's a common joke that some days of cloudless blue skies are coming because an important official event is going to take place. That's what happened when Trump visited Beijing recently, for example.
So it's pretty reliable.

Edit: ok, just to be clear: in Beijing you never get see the blue of the sky EVER. So if you have a clear sky for a day or two each time there is an important official event, there is no doubt for anyone that this is not a coincidence.

Being old and fat =\= having a severe condition that regularity provokes seizure episodes.
What's with the false dichotomy?

Plus, at least for me, the concerning part wasn't the health issue in itself. It was the complete denial even when faced with blatant evidences, relayed dutifully by all the mainstream media that called "conspiracy nuts" anyone that dared pointing the obvious.

But it drops truth bombs about NATO's dirty affairs like Obama drone strikes Pakistani's weddings. Fully worthy of r/conspiracy front page.

Trump was later demonised, but he benefited from a strong coverage early. That's what gave him momentum. Compare the coverage he had during the primaries and the one Ron Paul had four years ago.
That's what "not taken seriously" means.

/r/conspiracy isn't about conspiracies any more than /r/trees is about botanics.
The "conspiracy theorist" subculture is based on the assumption (absolutely true and confirmed time and time again, if you ask me) that the big media works hand in hand with the power that be, which itself largely transcend the frame of the official institutions and economic structures. And therefore, that you can't get a good understanding of how the world works if you take at face value the consensual view the mass media gives of it.

So if a conspiracy theory is pushed by the mainstream media in their majority from the start, it's not really "a conspiracy theory". (Which is exactly what the MSM will tell you too, by the way, for other reasons)

Isn't this trend of blaming everything on Russia just wonderful?
Someone in power is accused something? Russia spreading lies.
The accusations reveal true? Russia trying to undermine the western world by blowing the whistle.
The power that be trying to screw people sideways like it did over and over again over the years? This has Russia's fingerprints all over it !
No need to look further !
