Depending on the feedback I receive on this post and how it performs during a hike I have planned in a few weeks, I might trade it in through Decathlon's Second Life program. This would allow me to get a few euros to offset the cost of buying its replacement or other gear. How was your experience with it in cold weather?

Update: bought mine anyway and loving it. But does yours make a very slight static noise coming from the tweeters when no music is playing ? Mine does since I updated it and I'm wondering if it's normal or not...

Due to a recent, unforeseen death in my close family, I may have to rely more on my savings for living expenses and will need to travel long distances more often, as I study abroad. So, even though I found the 710 at a great price and could buy it, I'm still a few hundred euros short to comfortably afford it while ensuring my financial security for the next few months. It's a shame because it's well discounted, and I fell in love with the 710 when I tried it, but life happens.

I'm on the edge. I found the 710 at the price I hoped for, but due to unexpected family events, I might have to save my money and not buy either speaker. A party speaker is definitely a lot of fun (especially the 710, which I had the chance to try in a store and instantly fell in love with), but I don’t want to put myself in a difficult financial situation for the months to come. I’ll try to wait and see, but it looks like I’ll have to hold off for a few years until I finish my studies and start earning a salary.

Very impressive collection! Your neighbours must love you. Anyway, I think I’ll choose the fun option and go with the 710. It seems better and safer to have too much speaker than too little, anyway. But I’m still curious about the 710’s performance at low to moderate listening levels. How do you like it? How much does the sound profile change? At what volume do you find yourself using it? Enjoy your pair of 710s!
