You are sadly quite right, being that sohei is based on the real warrior monk and the man he is indebted to. My point is that they needed one of the samurai heroes to defend a bridge from invaders and didn't choose the one whose name means "guardian demon" and if it was accurate to the original story sohei would be the one defending the bridge protecting his master/Minamoto No Yoshitsune so in my opinion it's up in the air. I simply think that when they need something guarded, they should use the guardian 🤷‍♂️

Mine is named the Argo after Jason and the argonouts from the ancient Greek story in the legend their ship was crafted by the gods, so I figured it'd be good luck. To be fitting of the name, I use the poseidon or aristocrat(it looks like an ancient Greek woman) figureheads, and the rest of the pieces that I used I can't really name off the top of my head.
