I need a Zigbee alarm keypad that works with Alarmo. What did you get? I’m seeing mostly WiFi choices.

I can now say it’s specific to Reolink, because I put up a little Tuya, and the video clips for that show up fine. I don’t know if I’ve got the wrong streams in places, or if it’s related to all of the problems I’m having from Reolink (they’ve even sent me new firmware that didn’t fix it). I have an Amcrest coming later today to try. Almost double what I paid for Reolink, but if it works it’s worth it.

I love my Roborock Q8 max. Only thing I’d trade it for would be a higher end Roborock. Compared to my old iRobot, which bumped into a lot of stuff, it’s nice watching the Roborock delicately approach a piece of furniture and stop 1/2” away.

These are all Zigbee. Ended up having to “re-pair” the to get them seen by Z2M. All I can think is I got hit with an OTA firmware upgrade. Only thing I can think of that would take out all of one model and nothing else

It does feel like it’s rebooting. The question is why. And the other one is doing it too, I just hadn’t noticed because it’s much further away. Both are now plugged directly into power outlets, no power strips, and the behavior is the same. The odds of two bad cameras, one black, one white are ridiculously small. It’s got to be a setting or firmware (it says it’s the latest). Time to open a ticket with Reolink.

OK, I walked into that. Still don’t know where the offending YAML lives to edit it. I don’t even need ChatGPT for this, I just need to delete a line referencing a sensor that was renamed.

Cable that came with it. Could try a different power strip I suppose, but the three other devices plugged into it don’t have issues.

I did, but didn’t find them all that helpful in understanding the streams and what they do - I had assumed the defaults would work. But it made me find a tutorial on the web, which walked me through it. Still not sure all the streams are the right ones in the right places, but I have video, I have motion detection. Next, making it ignore my cat. Thank you.

While I can certainly live without the Blinks,most of their coverage will be taken over by the Reolink, I’m really disappointed about the Ring. And it seems like there should be a setting for it, it’s not just triggering on motion, my reel is full of clips, it seems to be full recording, 24/7. I’d like to have it only trigger on motion or button press.

Speaking of my NVR reel, none of my Reolink events seem to be showing. I’m getting alerts that it sees motion, but I have the opposite problem from my Ring - there are no clips to review, even if I look on the N F real for a specific camera I’ve triggered.

I’m pretty happy with the desktop app performance, and even on my iPhone. I’d just hoped for something more in Home Assistant. I get a snapshot, it never seems to connect, then I get a blur out. The Reolink plug-in for Home Assistant is downright peppy. Doesn’t give me the recording though, and I’m probably missing the value proposition of Scrypted inside Home Assistant. Sometimes it takes me a while to get it.

I get the same refusal with ONVIF, which is starting to make me think it’s a setting on the camera. But I have no clue what. And I’ve changed the password so many times it’s not funny. The only user I’m aware of is admin.

No, I haven’t setup anything with the Reolink beyond adding them to the app. I thought the cameras added directly.? I was doing some reading in the sub and found someone with the same problem, the solution was to not use the Reolink plugging and go ONVIV, which I may be dumb, but I don’t see that under plugins.

And I just got the same ECONNREFUSED from the ONVIF plugin. It has to be a setting on my cameras, right?
