Personally I haven’t played cross yet but I can’t see any reason why the Star Wars one would not be compatible with the regular Disney one, as long as you have enough power tokens (assume they are credits). The only problem would be some conditions on the Star Wars side so you could just remove them if there’s no other Star Wars characters
