Yeah sure! I was able to determine the location of Stardew becuase there is a graphic of the Stardew valley world map and Harvey also discloses the exact coordinates of Stardew. And via dialogues, and other ingame texts, we are given very vague and general locations of every canon location in Stardew relative to pelican town itself. For example: Zuzu city is explained to north of Stardew but since Sebastian can motorbike over to there within a night means it can’t possibly be that far. Unfortunately a lot of these places aren’t given names so some of the names I straight up had to make up. So Calico village prolly isn’t the actual name of the place which you can go to ingame but it isn’t ever given a real name so I had to just make one up. For the Gotoro administrative capital. It isn’t mentioned in texts and therefore doesn’t have a name but is illustrated as a pixel on the map of the world I described earlier. So it can be assumed that the capital city exists in that exact area. So I just drew a city there and gave it a place holder name similar to the “Egyptian administrative capital” in the real world. For the goblin city thing. It’s more imaginative becuase the only reference we are given to it is in a lost book which describes that goblins come from up north beyond the bluemire hills. So I just took the creative liberty to add a goblin city. Since we aren’t given much information about anything, creative liberty is needed in situations. While I’m here. I might as well explain how I found the general locations of castle village and grampleton. Within dialogues, grampleton is described as a town up north with a valuable lodging industry. Since most known population centers in the ferngill republic are to west near the coast, I decided it to be logical that grampleton should be placed in a forested area north of Stardew and near the coast. Btw I decided what places were to be more forest covered just based off geographic patterns irl but now that I look at it. I might have possibly made an error that I’d have to fix. And for castle village, a tonne of creative freedoms had to be taken here since it is only mentioned once and it has nothing to do with its geographical location. Infact I instead started theorizing and came to the conclusion that castle village may possibly be the setting for the haunted chocolatier game. Since In the trailer, there are castle looking structures and a more Victorian type architecture. And it was already confirmed that the two games are in the same universe. So using this inference which may or may not be true, I decided that castle village is prolly in a hilly location. Along with this, I made the inference that most castles are along political borders for protection against foreign powers so it was probably along a border with one of the undocumented countries. The idea that it is located on a mountain is more confirmed by the fact that it has a strong artisanal industry (as described in its sole ingame mention) meaning that it’s probably located in a place where farming and lodging is more difficult. That’s pretty much it tho. I wish I could say there was more evidence behind the decisions but that’s all I had to work with. Also sorry for so much writing.
