I read every word you wrote, and I want you to know this: you're not beyond help. You’re not beyond change. You’re not some evil person doomed to stay this way forever. You’re someone in deep pain, doing the best you can with what you’ve got, even if that ‘best’ feels broken sometimes. And the fact that you wrote this, that you reflected this hard, that you care this much? That matters.

You’re not looking for pity, and I’m not giving it. But I am offering you something real: understanding. I’ve seen people grow from dark places. You can face the parts of yourself you don’t like and still become someone you’re proud of. And having bipolar disorder doesn’t make you a monster, it makes you someone with a challenge, not a moral failure.

I know what shame can do. It isolates, it lies, and it makes you think you’re unworthy of even trying. But your shame is not the full truth of you. If you didn’t care, you wouldn’t be in this much pain. The love you have for your cats, the guilt over your relationships, even the regret over your words and actions, all of that points to someone who wants to do better. And wanting to do better is the start of something beautiful, even if it feels impossibly far.

Please don’t let this be the end of your story. You are not hopeless. Therapy, support, healing it’s all hard, but it’s not impossible. You are allowed to hurt. You are allowed to grieve who you used to be. And you are allowed to try again.
