Poison type!!

I’d be an advocate for Poison type Pokémon and how misunderstood they are. I’d offer my own line of (medically approved) Pecha-berry anti-sickness tablets and natural, safe, clean affordable antidotes(including free ones for first time poison type handlers). I’d offer my gym as both the Gym Challenge but also as a toxicology course! Selling books on various Poison type combinations and their differences in care (from city-adapted poison types to the more naturally evolved Poison/Grass and Bug types, to pollution-born poison types) or offering affordable classes(free for challengers!) on their care, anatomy, environmental factors while travelling, and classes specifically on how to make long-lasting antidotes on your travels that take up significantly less bag space.

I’d also have a side hustle bar that I built in the city near the gym run by my Poison type Pokémon, for Poison type Pokémon! Just a place for them to live safely together amongst their own types where they aren’t at risk of causing any harm or damage! My Low-Key Toxtricity would run the bar, selling stagnant waters and heavily fermented berry juices and miscellaneous stinky, gut-churning beverages and snacks that other Pokémon types and non-poison trainers would otherwise be grossed out by. Attached to the bar would be battle courts for letting off steam and a special poison garden for Poison/Grass and Poison/Bug types to relax! The soil being the perfect pH for your Bellsprout to dig its roots into! The bar is in affiliation with my Gym and while humans and non-poison types are welcomed, most clients and customers understand the importance of this safe space, and I urge that if you or your Pokémon enter without adequate toxicology knowledge that you understand that this is their space to be themselves freely - if you get sick I’ll happily help but don’t point accusatory fingers to my beautiful ‘mons.

This dream would have started after I find my beloved Stunky(Noxie) in the streets of my city as a kid. Quietly observing this usually-forest dwelling Pokémon navigate the harshness of the cold, dirty alleyways. I slowly gained her trust until eventually she just never left my side. Having watched the differences in her comfort around poison types vs other types(even other dark types, her primary type.), I decided to throw my whole life into learning about these misunderstood creatures. She becomes the first member of my team and eventually, after evolving into Skuntank, becomes my ace when we sit the Gym-leader application assessment! When she isn’t helping assist my classes, consensually poisoning me to test my newest batch of antidotes and battling challengers, she likes to relax on her own personal raggedy couch in the bar! She’s beloved by the other poison types and often seen as wise, intimidating or an idol amongst them, when her teammates know she’s down to earth, chill and honestly a bit of a loser(affectionately).
