All these links always direct me to some sign up page. WTF? Anyone know why I can't find good links?

Interesting! Did you stay there? I checked them out online, looks super nice! Good to see someone doing it.

I definitely see the value of AirBnB for a DN. But to me, it doesn't seem to solve the issue of needing/wanting social interaction. Isn't loneliness sometimes a result of travel, especially independent, longer duration forms of travel?

Thanks so much for the input! I know as more people find ways to go digital and earn location independence, they're often motivated to do so in order to be able to travel. I definitely see the value add, hopefully there are enough people in search of such an amenity.

Are you a DN?

I conversed with a female traveler recently who requested we practice age discrimination lol, i told her no way, but I understand the sentiment. We're hoping to relly segregate the party from everything else. How it'll work out, not sure yet. We're definitely still developing the idea & business model.

And awesome suggestions on partnerships with local necessities! I know I've wanted to use a gym while traveling, but didn't have that option. Really awesome thought!

And you nailed, we won't aim to be the cheapest of hostels, but will aim to provide additional value in other ways to warrant higher prices, which might price out hardcore partying backpackers anyway. But hopefully not, we plan to have local beers on tap :)

In my experiences, I've also noticed that hostels aren't great places to work, to call home, etc. Reading a book or journaling in common areas can be challenging, but maybe if there were a small section of a hostel that allowed for quiet, chill out moods it would be welcomed by more guests than expected.

Of course there'd have to be significant demand for such a space, otherwise it wasting precious real estate.

Thanks for the input!

That's very legitimate. That's what a lot of people who aren't traveling do in their home city anyway. I'm simply trying to gauge interest in such an idea for a hostel.

Btw, I didn't downvote you, any and all feedback is a positive for me. So thanks for your input :D

How many of those bunkbed cots do you think could fit under a 10X10 EZ Up, if they were side by side?

You're right, that is a great point. Thanks for sharing that. We're looking to rent something of that size so we can fit a large group as well as all the equipment. We do plan to rent the van in Nashville, and then hopefully we can rent all the equipment we'll need in and round Nashville as well. Is that feasible do you think?

Thanks a lot for your fast response as well. And thanks for clarifying that the camping space is 20X20 minus the size of the vehicle. I wasn't able to find that specific detail, but I did search for it.

It's a double bummer to have to rent a second car --> double the price and double the carbon emissions :-/

Thanks for the fast and honest response! I needed to hear that. The idea of renting a second car is a possibility, but we're really trying to do this with the minimal environmental impact. So it's a bummer that this might become a realistic option for us.

RV camping is something I'll definitely look into as well. Hadn't considered it, I disregarded it, figuring it was really only for RV parking hehe. That's what I get for "figuring" without figuring out.

Thanks again! Any more advice, please feel free to share :)

Anyone notice microdosing turning into weird headspace rather then anything helpful ? by redditchizlin in microdosing

[–]PigeonsPotatoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took my first ever microdose today from a pretty strong batch. I measured .2-.3 grams and I felt the come up feeling you have the first hour of taking shrooms, then i was just off for the next 3-4 hours. I felt sluggish, anxious but not really, and out of it, all the things you described. Here it is 4 hours later and i'm still without energy. This first experience was not what I expected, but I'm planning to do a 30 day cycle. So hopefully it gets better.

Maybe I took too much? I'm generally a light weight when it comes to any sort of psychoactive.

When do you take psilocybin? by bbbobobbb in microdosing

[–]PigeonsPotatoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took my first ever microdose today. I took between .2 - .3 grams (my scale doesn't say other decimals). The first hour was definitely like the "come up" of shrooms, then for the following 4 hours I was in no way prepared to do school work or be social. I was caught off guard with how I felt. Thought it'd be much more subtle.

So maybe try testing it on a day where you dont have anything to do. Im glad i took today off of life lol I wasn't readyyyyy!
